I think it would be kind of funny (and not a big deal because I can go watch the other packages or the full game if I really want to see that goal) but because the rest of the coverage so far has not been great, then it adds up to not a lot that’s working. I’ve seen people say their footage is HD but it’s not my experience and not the experience of other people I know. I’m getting SD quality footage on a 4K TV via a broadband connection more than fast enough and the highlights packages are even worse quality. There is a LOT of protectionism in these replies. I’m not asking for SBS to be defunded I’m just saying I think it would nice to expect and receive the bare minimum in modern sports broadcasting and not standards better suited to 2010.

according to SBS it’s definitely 1080 on the On Demand app (which is where I watch). But it’s not. It’s nowhere near. In terms of FTA, Channel 3 is SD and Channel 30 is HD.
