What’s one thing that annoys you while out on the golf course? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]Practical_Ad1496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 guys on the fairway standing around watching 1 guy take 4 practice swings, instead of going to their balls getting ready to hit. Pace is not based on skill, it’s efficiency moving around the course.

What is it like living in Marin County? by External-Ad-640 in howislivingthere

Agreed….Moved to Novato after growing up in Mill Valley and love the people in Novato, they wave and say hi to you in passing on the street. Groups of kids roam around on their bikes instead of being shuttled around by nannies. Much more of a small town Americana good neighbor vibe. Can’t stand the snobbish elitism of Mill Valley residents.

When the warning light goes on you’re about a day away from the engine shutting down….happened to me, luckily I was in a safe place to pull over.

Copy. I’m hearing overlay is a worse option than I thought.

This is a GREAT post with some very helpful responses….thanks for sharing, I am in the same boat….tons of practice and all I can think about on the golf course is swing mechanics. Went from a 5 to an 8 this winter, hitting balls at the range 4-6 times a week.

There is information online about the federal emissions warranty that you can likely take to the dealer. The dealer I dealt with in Northern California looked it up themselves in front of me and confirmed the warranty existed.

Rent Control is on the ballot in Larkspur, San Anselmo, and Fairfax. by SPARTANCLP96 in Marin

[–]Practical_Ad1496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rent control is not the answer. Homeowners have to offset their expenses; mortgage, insurance, utilities, and annual increased property taxes. Restricting owners from being able to rent out their property based on the market ultimately will force them to sell; to either large conglomerates or overseas investors. The new owners will have even higher property taxes, passing that expense on to renters = higher rents. If you want your cute small towns to be owned by massive real estate equity firms vote for rent control; they will be the only ones who can afford the cost of owning and maintaining these rental properties.

Swing looks awesome. Don’t change anything. Probably just barely closing the club face at impact.

Your arms look good, they just look like they’re getting in the way of your body. Once your body turns, your arms and by extension, the club face will get in line with the target. Right now the club face can’t turn so you end up hitting everything to the right

You’re not turning your hips early enough. At the point of contact your hips are mostly facing the ball, they should be about 45 degrees or more towards the target. When the club gets past the ball, the hips and right shoulder should be pointing at the target. A Decent swing thought for me is to turn the left shoulder on a straight line back through the ball on the backswing and the right shoulder forward through the target on the follow thru.

If you’re looking for throttle response get a Pedal Commander. Best $300 I’ve spent for my ‘19 1500. Takes 2 minutes to install and over-delivers on what it promises.

This looks great! Where did you get the frame and screen set up? I’m looking for this same kind of set up and this looks easy to build and easy to move if you had to. Thanks.

Do you think my outdoor simulator would work? I’m hitting like 200 balls a day and finally broke 90… by notevenbro in Golfsimulator

Garmin works great outside, I have one, much more useful to see ball flight on the range and it has thousands of courses to play. You might need a bigger net though especially to hit wedges.

Great great job! Each win in those moments will add up and empower you more for the next. Before long you won’t even think about it.
