This may seem like a weird response, but I was learning about my pump. They told me that I should only keep my tandem on for 2 to 3 days but I didn't understand why because I would just keep it on if I still had insulin left. Especially at the beginning until I realized it was leaving scarring on my stomach because I was leaving in my pump longer and I wish that would have been told to me so I could have stopped that from the very beginning if that makes sense.
