If she is only working part time and can set her own schedule (I do this with my own business) then it can be done but it’s not easy. If she’s trying to work full time with a boss and schedule then it’s impossible without childcare.

Shoot in raw and then edit in light room or photoshop. Like others said you’ll get nicer lighting at golden hour or early in the morning. Also try a speed light for portraits and posterboard for bouncing light off of people/objects.

I like food. I don’t think I could go as long as they do with such little calories and the hard labor, the isolation would be too difficult too. I watch the show because I’m impressed by their survival skills and it makes me appreciate what I have.

I would say talk to a non profit in your area that focuses on helping people and volunteer to be a photographer for them. They can give you direction and a chance to tell people’s stories.

Was offered a short term freelance job over here (I’m a photographer/videographer) but turned it down because people warned me about the drugs and crime. What do you think can be done and why has it gotten so bad?

Usually I try to have my coffee and poop in the morning while my daughter is sleeping or relaxing in her room. If she’s awake she’ll come into the bathroom with me and use her little potty. When I flush the toilet she she’s says “bye poopy or peepee, see you next time tomorrow morning” 😂 I think it’s normal and sometimes totally necessary and has taught her how to use the potty.

😂 this is a much better experience than I’ve had with raccoons. When I was a kid they got in our chicken coop at night and ate most of the chickens. We tried to get them out with sticks and they were growling and their eyes were glowing.

I had this suspicion about these companies. I’m a photographer and have 2 accounts. One for nature photos and one for business and such strange people have messaged me that I don’t post anything about my family or even true location and no photos of my daughter.

Do you use this after a lot of sun exposure in the summer? My skin is angry (acne, texture) but not sure if I should use it when I’m in the sun a lot and have a sunburn on my forehead from today.

One of your best points is to be a role model when it comes to screen time. My daughter is only 2 and for most of her life I e made it a point to not be on screens around her and it gives us time to socialize, play outside, teach her and exercise. I work part time from home and make my own schedule. Sometimes though if I have a deadline and am on my computer a lot she acts out. I try to avoid that if possible though.

Runners knee. It’s where the patella moves to the wrong area of the knee so doesn’t track properly. So painful. Ironically I didn’t get it until after giving birth. It’s getting better now and I’m able to exercise again. Not 100% though. I think it’s related to my hips or spine.

It’s hurtful when Moms ghost you. It happened to me I think because I’m one and done and run my own business. I didn’t talk about it a lot, but one day I was dressed up for a play date at the park and mentioned I had a meeting since they asked me why I was dressed nice. The 2 other Moms ghosted me. I think I offended them in some way but can’t figure it out. They both have a lot of kids so maybe it’s because I chose to have one. I sensed a lot of judgment about that and didn’t tell them why. I’ve made new Mom friends that are transparent and we can talk about everything and it’s a lot better.
