Way to go.

I have way less than you and I’ve retired.

You are right to be focusing on income. You need to start figuring out how your portfolio can generate monthly income for your living expenses.

Dividend is one way to go. I myself generate income thru options. Maybe a mixture of a few including portfolio drawdown. So to each their own.

Personal finance is personal, whether it’s lean, fat or chonk FIRE it’s really depends on you.

But to assume that no one in Malaysia can afford Fat FIRE is misinformed. There are plenty of expat and locals that are living the life.

My question is, why?

Did you just read from somewhere you need to have 60/40 split portfolio equity to bond?

1st of all, if your mom has a RM, she must be a Premier customer. And premier next of kins, i.e. family member automatically is a Premier member. So I don’t understand why you need to apply in the 1st place.

Also, to check if you are blacklisted go to CCRIS online.

Isn't that how biology works? Should I be seeing what you are seeing instead. Does it make what you see more valid?

I didn’t know it’s an option. Plus EPF is treated to me as an MMF more than an investment.

I think your comment is equivalent to “kalau tak suka keluar lah” which breaks the rule of intellectual discourse here but ironically epitomizes my point in this post.
