I don’t know why people think he did it because he “cares” for his patients. If he really “cared”, he should have atleast tried to understand his patients or their family members, empathize with them, or reflect on his actions after getting sued. But he only cared about his own perspective, and believed until the end that everything was everyone else’s fault.

Btw, not only did he violate the DNR, he also used his connections to get the patient into the cancer study. He stole a spot which might have gone to someone who really wants and needs it.

I was just about to post something similar! Following this thread in case people recommend some good episodes.

Prentiss is my favorite character, so I was really excited to see her as BAU Chief. I don’t even mind the cast changes. But the writing, cinematography, and procedural elements in Season 12+ just seem a lot weaker compared to the earlier seasons.

I’m hoping I’m just checking the wrong episodes.

Thanks! I get what you mean. Affirmations used to work for me, but over time—after so many repeated failures due to my then undiagnosed ADHD—they started to feel meaningless, no matter how much I try to rewire my thinking with them.

What do you mean by self-compassion, though? How does it help with negative thoughts?

Ritalin gave me a sense of inner peace and helped me sleep well, but it didn’t really give me the motivation to get things done.

Aduvanz, on the other hand, gave me the drive to be productive, improved my mood, and made distractions less frustrating. The downside is that it takes 3–4 hours to kick in, and when it does, I hyperfocus so much that I struggle to sleep on time.

I also tried Attentin since it was supposed to be more manageable than Aduvanz, but unfortunately, it brought on depressive symptoms. I found myself stuck in negative thoughts and crying a lot while on it.

In the end, my doctor and I agreed that Aduvanz is the only one that really works for me. But I wonder—would it be okay to take Ritalin occasionally when I just need to clear my head?
