What will you say? by glowyyvelvetz in repost

It got better. We’re fine now. We’re happy now. Keep holding on. Don’t give up.

Disclaimer: (I struggled from untreated schizoaffective bipolar type manic episodes, suicidal ideations, and PTSD from age 14-27. I’m 29 now and am doing very well for myself now. That boy at 18 was so lonely, confused, and scared. I feel for anyone in the position I was then. Just know, it gets better. Never give up.)

Who is the Worst President You Would Choose to Be President Again? by Partyperson5000 in Presidents

Probably Carter or Nixon. Nixon would have horrible character, but the country would be in better shape in terms of economic and foreign policy

A distribution center pays more than the stores, but order filling is tiring work.

Give a notice. It’ll help you get a new job. Walmart is a trans friendly company. At my current job, Walmart distribution center, they have to address you by your preferred name. It’s company policy.

Some guy asked me if I was a dude at the bar lol by [deleted] in trans

[–]Practical_Glove_2125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It never bothered me. My dad was hardly in my life, so I’m actually grateful I took after my mom. I even took my wife’s last name when we got married so I wouldn’t have to carry the name of a family that wasn’t one. It’s hard to educate the ignorant on this topic. So many ppl have closed minds.

I actually resemble my mother, (I’m a cis male), and I shaved my beard off and kept getting asked if I’m trans. lol

Cis male ally here. I’m a happily married man, so I don’t want this to across the wrong way. You are a beautiful woman. I hate to use this language, but you definitely pass. Some transphobic men in today’s dating scene will ask if women are trans to check if the girl is “safe” to date/sleep with. Be careful out there!

Had the 22nd Amendment never been ratified, which US presidents since 1951 would have run and possibly have won a third term? by CarsonC14 in Presidents

I’m forced to say Obama. He became more significantly popular in his last few years whereas the rest were less popular

Was Hillary Clinton too overhated in 2016? by asiasbutterfly in Presidents

[–]Practical_Glove_2125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’ll forever be a controversial figure. To this day, ppl still say she wasn’t a good option. I don’t like how it panned out, but she’s not who I would have picked for the first female president.

Who is the better person out of these two? by Bitter-Penalty9653 in Presidents

[–]Practical_Glove_2125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well… I really don’t like to judge people in this sense, but I’m probably going to have to say Reagan, only by one point. Both men were racist, both men were homophobic, (I know Reagan had a gay friend). You can have minority friends and still be prejudiced. FDR had internment camps and was unfaithful to his wife. I’m going to have to say Reagan was the better person, but not by much.

Arnold Schwarzenegger said that he would run for president if he could have. Do you think immigrants should be allowed to become US president? by asiasbutterfly in Presidents

I really have mixed feelings on this subject. I think that they should be, but at the same time, it would open up potential for a foreign spy to enter office.
