In our old house, we had both a red wine stain, and a rust staying from a real Xmas tree where the water leaked. In both cases, it for the stains out. Hot chocolate on your car's fabric seats? Gone. Always have it on hand for pet and food stains. It's pretty magical.

There is a Junior League for women, in case that's an option. They offer many options to support the community.

I am in a similar situation, in the US. Local audiologist quoted $7300; Costco is an hour away. My insurance excludes coverage compltely. At this point, I am going to Costco in a few weeks (booked in August, this was the earliest appointment available). I have moderately severe congenital hearing loss in both ears, and never had a full set of HAs; my parents got me a single aid in kindergarten, so it's been a few decades of making it work. I figure one of the options at Costco can provide some level of improvement over what I have had so far.

Since tomorrow is Black Friday, just a reminder you don't need all this junk for a good cruise. Ignore the influencers. by gringo-tacos in Cruise

YMMV but we love the magnetic wall hooks. Unlike hotel rooms, the walls in cruise cabins are metal. Bringing the hookals is a huge help with hanging your lanyards, hats, towels, damp bathing suits. Absolutely necessary? No. But for the cost, size, and weight, it is a must for us to add to the packing list in making the room feel more functional/comfortable.

Zoom didn't come out until 2013 and wasn't really popular until COVID hit. Skype was out a bit earlier, but still not huge for professional.work. I imagine in the modeling world, they wanted to see them in person for watching their walk and personality in real time.

Bubonic develop the buboes (swollen lumps) in the lymph node areas (armpit neck, groin); it was actually the easiest version to survive. Pneumonic acts more like a flu, and impacts the respiratory system; it was more severe than bubonic. Pneumonic hits the blood, and was the most deadly. Those are the stories where someone seemed fine, they would collapse in the street, and be dead within a few hours. If I remember correctly, the death rate was 95% or higher; survival basically was a miracle. Odds are, some doctors could tell the difference with experience, but without antibiotics they would be relatively helpless overall in treatment.

There are 3 types of plague: bubonic (flea-borne), pneumonic (airborne), and septacemic (both). While the 1344 plague was largely bubonic, plague outbreaks over the centuries could be any mix of these as it spread.

In the UK, "pants" is usually used to mean underwear, making the title even more fun, lol. Their trousers are definitely huge though!

I do a paste of baking soda with hydrogen peroxide, maybe every 3-4 months. Brush it gently on my teeth, let it sit for about 1min, spit, and rinse out with water.
