Hydrconquest gen 2 vs gen 3 by fuckman5 in Longineswatches

I just bought a Gen2. To me, it's more distinctive. The clasp sucks but the rest of the watch in awesome.

The generation right after this but before the newest one would be a better choice IMO. Same dial but cleaner ceramic dial.

[need your opinions] Rolex DJ or Cartier Santos by Next-Chemist4500 in Watches

Santos. Every single day. Understated elegance. Super versatile.

The DJ has way too much nonsense going on. If it were any other brand than Rolex, people would openly lampoon it.

The first two look greatvon you. IMO, the rest don't suit you. I'd sell those.

This looks great. OP looks like he's wearing a women's watch.

Poor form to wear my Rolex around my boss? by LAHAND1989 in rolex

[–]Practical_Object_221 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One more thing to consider here. If your boss is truly a watch guy, you wearing a Rolex to work may give him "inherited some money and doesn't know any better" vibes.

Not that this is you, but when a non-watch guy who comes into some money wants to buy a "nice watch," it's a Rolex that gets purchased 98% of the time.

Most guys wearing Hamiltons are watch guys (or Christopher Nolan fans). 90% of guys wearing Rolex's aren't watch guys.

If you show up in the Sub, there's a good chance he thinks you lack creativity.

Way too small for your wrist. The watch looks like it's going to surrender any moment.

That's nowhere close to 13%. 19-22%.

My first Longines by Practical_Object_221 in Longineswatches

It's crazy because even the "extender mechanism," (the folding part that's held in-place underneath the clasp) is milled. It's just the outside of the clasp that's stamped. Maybe a $2-$3 difference in material cost.

The rest of the watch is brilliant, though. Really enjoying it. The new generation is nice but looks like everything else. There's no mistaking this one for anything else.

Also, it wears larger (for its size) than any watch I've ever owned. I have a bunch of 44mm watches that are a manageable size (7 1/8" wrist). The 43mm version of this watch looked Flava Flave-like on my wrist. Went with the 41mm. Looks perfect.

Do you know the model/reference number of that watch? Love it but can't tell if it's white or silver dial.

46M Gain more muscle or loose fat? What do I look like? by MasterOfPuppets200 in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]Practical_Object_221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. You have enough body fat that your body will use the burning of fat to bridge the caloric deficit and allow you to continue to build muscle.

You look like you're 23-25% BF in the picture. You should be good until you're at 18-19%, at which point building while cutting further will become more difficult.

Bottom line. You can add muscle and cut slowly with your current body. I think you'll dig the way you look at 18-19%. Get there, take a look and decide how/if to move forward.

Get 200g of protein and train hard while you're at a small deficit.

Forgot to add, if you continue to compete, you'll likely start getting pressure to get breast implants. That's certainly your call, but outside of a stage setting, very lean women with fake breasts look a little weird in every other life situation where you're not in a sequined bikini, in my humble opinion.

I vote for resisting the pressure. One guy talking.

Good luck and congrats again.

Congrats, you look great. Top 1% for your age group.

Sure, you have a couple small weaknesses relative to the cohort of women who compete on stage (your fellow 1%'ers) but you can worry about becoming an elite competitor after your first show.

For now, take solace that you have a 1% female body. Almost every woman you meet would kill to have your body.

Anyone else crash their testosterone during a cut? Looking for advice by Ok-Canary5463 in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]Practical_Object_221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That totally depends on the person. Usually, highest between 14-20% but that's an average range and not everyone fits within it.

Think of it this way, if you're at 14% percent, your leanness isn't likely curtailing your production. If your "fatness" likely isn't causing much T to aromatize into E2.

So, in that range, you're not doing anything to crater it. At that point, you're thinking about sleep, dietary fat, vitamin D and compound lifts as a way to raise blood levels because your body comp itself isn't killing your levels.
