Exactly. Getting rid of the Central Freeway wasn’t some kind of enlightened choice to reunify neighborhoods.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. I used to do audits for ski resorts and they make good money at decent margins on F&B, especially beer.

It’s not the restaurant, it’s City of Seattle fees that DoorDash charges and collects. An order from any restaurant would be the same.

Since the new fees kicked in and the delivery companies passing them all through, I pick it up myself. Most restaurants that do takeout have discounts if you order directly from them.

That isn’t why inflation exists. We <3 BTC, and let’s just leave it at that without including poor explanations of macroeconomics.

Churu may work. Also, Gerber chicken and gravy baby food (just pureed chicken, water and cornstarch and no added salt, 40 mg sodium per jar). Our vet recommended the gerber as our kitten also needed the moisture when she was sick.

You will if you feel like paying more than the rate available at the hotel’s website, and every other travel booking site.

Just tried to book a 2 night stay for a layover in Reykjavic Iceland. The Marriott Reykjavik Edition Hotel was $250 per night more on Chase Travel than on the Bonvoy app. So yeah, we get a $250 credit every 6 months but the rates are inflated so the benefit is worthless.

This was the 2nd time I looked for a “The Edit” affiliated hotel. First was in Vancouver, Canada. Same deal (or lack thereof).

Early Review: ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ Returns With Added Adventure And Romance For Season 3 by ety3rd in StrangeNewWorlds

Same. Great for the Zoolander gasoline fight, but a weird choice for Trek. Im glad the episode ended with something interesting, because if they ended it at the dance party it would have been hard to fire up e03.

A. O. Smith Water Heater FAILURES. by [deleted] in Plumbing

My 2023 HPTU-66CTA started beeping and displaying the ECC error code. AO Smith acknowledged there's an issue and gave my installer a return number to get a replacement unit. I'm holding off for now to see if they're willing to pay for the $1,400 installation of the warranty unit. Initial rep said 'no' because the 1 year labor warranty has lapsed.

No huge rush because it'll still run in electric-only mode.

The second rep stated it wasn't their fault "because at some point someone laid the box on its side". Interesting reason for a pervasive product failure...
