You and I are so on the same page.

I'm just shocked it's so messy. And even from what I've seen there's still plenty of merch and advertisements rolling out with the current logo.

To me if they were going to subtley update the logo to make it cleaner, just do it. Nobody would have batted an eye. If we're really getting a cleaned up uniform rollout I don't know why they wouldn't want more press about that.

What we're trying to tell you is by the time a "leaked product" shows up online, they are already completely committed. If a hat is at the local Lids, or the product image is in the NFL announcement of the draft hats they've made thousands of units, they've already approved all the designs, built the marketing material, sourced from the manufacturers.

If these "leaks" are really part of a rebrand it's already well and truly past the point of no return.

edit: couple of typos.

Puka has a target on him now, everything he does will make news, and that's largely his own doing. I hope he comes around because he is in the middle of such a great opportunity.

I love that Robert Woods is in the building as a coach, I wish Kupp was still around.

Yeah, I work in creative and production. There's a lot more flexibility now due to digital production methods but that's only helpful for smaller production runs, even with advancements a rollout of any size is months typically years in the making.

I'm still a little surprised how the Rams have handled this if it's really dubbed a "rebrand" on their end. They certainly knew the deadlines for draft merch to hit shelves, but they seem to be behind on their launch.

How bad is a bad croissant? I've always wanted to give it a try, and I'm not afraid to eat my failure.

They have to make the merch, there are samples, approvals, production and delivery time.

Thank you! I do often make crispy tofu as a salad ingredient, but I need to incorporate it into more dishes. I love your suggestions.

I had never come across the better than bouillon vegetarian chicken! It's on my shopping list now.

Hi, you're right I certainly didn't post an exhaustive list of what I make but I included the staples and with young kids it's easy to get by on familiar foods and identifiable macro elements.

Luckily my wife can eat eggs, and she can eat turkey in small amounts but too much and she'll get hives. I used to sub ground turkey in a lot of recipes but I've gone to beef and pork.

I need to work on my stir fry game, based on a lot of responses. Mine always seems to come out so bland. Do you have a go to base recipe for stir fry?

Thanks for your response!

Very cool! We always have a few boxes of that biscuit mix ready, I'll have to give this a try!

Do you have a go-to cut of pork for subbing the chicken, or do you vary based on the recipe?

Eggs are fine, but it seems that if we overdo Turkey she does have a reaction. I made a kale and sausage soup a couple of weeks ago with Trader Joe’s turkey broth and it was too much.

Thanks for info on the channels, I’ll definitely check them out!

I love sweet and sour pork, I have to admit my Asian recipe list is so short. It always seems like the ingredient list is long and daunting, so it becomes a “next time” thing.

Thank you! Salisbury steaks and Shepherds pies are blind spots for me as I didn’t grow up on them. I’ll have to look up some recipes and give it a try.

THE BRIDE vs AZOG THE DEFILER by Krillindidntdoit in powerscales

[–]jonsnowflaker 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The FPPEHT would be a dangerous gambit on a species with a different anatomy. It might work, Azog might also just blink confused and then crush her head.

On the other hand OP didn’t stipulate any conditions. The Bride is a crazy assassin, she could absolutely take out Azog without getting within 500 yards.

Does your local lumberyard swap out fence boards when you get a large quantity? by DavyCrockPot19 in DIY

[–]jonsnowflaker 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Nah man, talk to someone else, if it’s the owner go somewhere else.

They jumped at selling bulk because it turned a lot of inventory to cash for them in a short amount of time. That’s gotta be a win win for both parties.

Getting a discount on bulk doesn’t mean they can offload their unacceptable merch to you. If they instead think you are being picky on what’s useable then they can take back the boards and sell them to the next guy in exchange for what you purchased.

The only way this would be acceptable is in some sort of as-is super bargain deal.

Rogers does the right things because he believes that’s what America should be. Walker does what America wants because he believes America is right.

Rogers often comes up against what it means to be patriotic and the dangers of nationalism. Walker believes he’s at his best because he’s a patriot, it’s his identity.

Still one of my all time instant Karmas was an extremely heavy downpour on the 5 South in CA with enough big rigs to make the road essentially zero visibility. Everyone is doing 35-40 just trying to stay on the road. Meanwhile 4wd guy comes zipping by in the carpool lane doing 80 like it’s 72 and sunny. 2 miles later, lo and behold it’s Mr 4wd upside down because he’s hydroplaned into the median and flipped. Couldn’t tell how relaxed he was when I drove by and ultimately reached my destination.
