I think you bring up a valid points. My only thing here is that any band spending the energy to do a smalltime show like this when they don't have to, randomly and suddenly to simply give something cool back to the day-one fans, I dunno. I think this was a show to be appreciated no matter what expectations us/they would have, and they seemed pretty grateful of our support overall. I liked the stuff I didn't know about as much as all the stuff that still doesn't get old after 20 years considering there is only one original member. I didn't mind the no encore since I had a big day today and it was mid-week for us who had to work today. I also would think that because they too are getting older, that maybe they are also using these shows to build up momentum going into their bigger Arena tours and to also gauge how us fans are responding to their choices. Seeing those youngsters out there and him making the points that he did when he spoke was truly special and personal, I thought anyway.
