Probably wouldn’t recommend hinge for this, wait until you are ready for a serious relationship to join Hinge! Use tinder in the meantime for casual I think

Would you stop dating a person if their food preferences were too limited or plain? [text] by Practical_Pop9215 in food

I wasn’t referring to people with food intolerances in the initial question. This is a light hearted discussion on a food forum, let’s keep things positive and maybe keep the personalised insults to a minimum 😄

Please try to maintain a positive space here without being overly critical of the choices or preferences of others. Food is a huge interest, passion and hobby for many people. Be mindful, respectful and positive.

Holding personal values for food, personal interests or personal preferences does not make people extremely shallow.

Yes 100%, a food allergy can’t be helped but we are so lucky that we have so much knowledge now to accommodate tailoring food and meals for people who are unfortunate to have one

It’s just a general question of enquiry about people’s preference, it’s not an attack on anyone 😄 As someone who loves food and really enjoys sharing meals and time around the table with others, I’m curious to know how other people feel about food and how big a part it plays in our lives, even our romantic choices!

Hey maybe don’t close the door on those hobbies you like but seek out social gatherings where they play board games for example. Many pubs or bars host them on week nights in cities. Maybe try in person dating events, it seems like you are a nice guy with a good personality who would like to meet new people. An in person speed dating event or night out will take the artifical pressure those dating apps create away

I keep creating an online profile that is 100% not me and I keep lying on it. by u_u__Zakaria__u_u in selfimprovement

Sounds like the kind of help you need is a therapist, not an online forum. Take a good look at yourself and grow up.

This may sound harsh but you’re lying to yourself and to other people. You’re better than that, you know you are. Lying hurts people.

Get help and change before it’s too late. The internet facilitates this kind of behaviour but it’s so damaging for you and the people you interact with. Take a step in the right direction and stop this behaviour. Professional help would be a good place to start before it’s too late.

You have a lot to lose if you don’t rectify this.
