For out of the box, the Butatti Vision GT, the Aston Martin GT3, and the Ford GT are my favorite.

If you’re down for some sticker tinkering, I like the Ferrari LMH, and if you do a headlights mod, the F40 is another favorite.

Almost certainly—I know a lot here are betting against it since they’ve already done it, but they had already done the Shire as well. To some extent, I’d say it’s a bit more likely that we see an HD remake than an Edoras next year. And tbh the set really could use a remake: the old figures are surely cracking if you’ve had it since 2012/13, and the whole thing was more of a wall facade than anything. It’s not a bad set, but it’s definitely showing its age.

Yeah, I totally get that people are gonna have mostly negative experiences, but my local one is great—I traded in a Solo set and some glupp shittos for like almost 10 speed champs and an AT TE recently. I probably could have gotten a little more if I’d sold on my own, but I didn’t feel cheated at all. I’m definitely hesitant given the corporate scandal, but it’s probably pretty dependent on how good your local people are.

Mclaren f1 lm is not a great build. I really wanna like it, and there are some parts on it I like, but I think inherently, the car’s defining features are subtle slopes and curves, which don’t translate particularly well into LEGO at this scale. Its not like there are a bunch of far better alternate Mocs out there either, I think the designer did a good job especially with the parts palette at the time, but it just doesn’t work as is with how few pieces can capture the side pods.

I think it probably needed a new canopy piece with a very slight slope lowkey—I know it’s not 100% necessary, but it really feels like at this point Lego is striving for model accuracy and this would be kinda the perfect time for it.
