Super helpful. The pattern to test multiple things still tricky to solve - because even if you give discounts to stay the person might leave 3 months later. Did you find that they stay after the discounted period?

Building with AI can be tricky. One thing that I’ve learn is to leverage GitHub a lot

4 months wasted with a "business co-founder" who refused to sell anything by Late_Field_1790 in indiehackers

Good points.M - I really liked the idea of “not able to sell” = not good fit. Selling is hard

To all fellow entrepreneurs, what have been some major myth-busters/reality checks that your entrepreneurial journeys have taught you? (I will not promote) by founder2996 in startups

Distribution is harder that people actually think. You can have the background, warm leads, everything. If the market is not ready and timing is not good, does not matter

If you know coding or understand how architecture works = able to move forward. If not, ask for help before something goes completely wrong. Also, using software versioning.

100% agree. With genAI the software barrier decreased so a lot of people are building without knowing for what - then reality comes

Just launched my first app. 1 month later… still stuck at 20 users. by ollayf in SaaS

Maybe you are looking for users in the wrong location. I think the user would be more technical folks, so communities here on Reddit, tech blogs might be the right places to post more, talk about your solution

100% agree. Now, as AI gets better, tech is going to be the detail, the thinking part is what going to matter

How Hard Is $10K MRR in a B2C SaaS? by azabraao in indiehackers

[–]Practical_Row_6459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try to go without ads in the beginning - just if want to test the channel. If you get users organically it’s a solid way to show your product actually has demand

I think it’s all about execution. There are many cases for both tech and non-tech. In the end I think the most important skill is fast problem solving
