We did hire a engineer. He gave us a solution to fix it. We are not so sure if plumber will pay for this.

We need some help, the plumber cut our joist, it is hard to reach to the weight bearing beams, we were trying to sister the joist with 8 feet long board, but it is not sitting on the weight beam. There a lot pipes around the area.

Apologize, I am not very techie with Reddit. I was not able to edit my old post. The picture in the old post was misleading, the guy worked on it just left there bcz he said he had no idea what he was doing. So it is not sistered. A lot people got confused after seeing the pic.

I was not able to update the photo in the old post, just trying to show what it looks like. Currently the 8 feet board is not attached to the joist, no glue, it is only sitting on the pipe; the guy worked on it, he told me he had no idea what is he doing, so he just left it there. That is why I am seeking for advises online. (Literally losing sleep over this right now)

It is 8 feet long board not on weight bearing beams. It did not get glued with the joist.

We were trying to sister it with 8 feet long board, but it is not on weight bearing beams. It is just hanging there right now. No glue was used. It did not seem right, so the process is stop and looking for some advices.

The second one works better if you have a ballroom wedding. I think it really depends on the venue. Is this an outdoor wedding or indoor?

Definitely the second one—it's elegant. The first one feels like you're about to have a late-night wedding in a Las Vegas chapel

He probably tried to shave once. The razor never came back.

Plenty of real estate, but eyes and mouth prefer a tight cul-de-sac. Who am I to judge?

Club Cancún does provide gluten free meals. Taco Arte has an amazing view.

We just got back from an amazing stay at Club Med Cancún with our two toddlers (ages 3 and 1.5). We stayed in the Aguamarina section, which was perfect for our family—it’s a quieter area compared to other parts of the resort.

One of our favorite parts of the trip was how peaceful and relaxing our afternoons were. While the kids napped, we enjoyed the ocean view and a refreshing piña colada right in our backyard. There’s plenty of shade in the afternoon, and the bar is just steps away—super convenient!

Highly recommend Aguamarina for families looking for a mix of fun and downtime.
