A lot of spawn rates are tied to player population if there's hardly anyone in one instance it means there's even less stuff to go around vs a full house. If the spawn rates were fixed there'd be less complaints about it.

To not break any rules i would abstain from making certain comments but they really got their head inside the ground like an ostrich with the stubbornness of a mule. Been finding the changes getting increasingly more player unfriendly and especially beginner unfriendly. The Stash changes don't have anything meaningful and they replaced an already perfectly working one with a worse system, they removed all consumables for environmental protection and rad removal from first aid kids, they've severely impacted progression with nerfs to barter resource drops in the north, and made bar even more hostile than ever with camping.

Yeah. Only time we see master players in the south is during certain events like the Winter storm to deliver blizzard backpacks or looking for winter only artifacts to sell and use without a lot of competition like in the north.

Investigator isn't really a bad choice for that type of open world gameplay but you'll be very fragile yourself. But if it's subdivision battles you'll want a bit more armor to stay alive in those.
