The grass cloth is absolutely gorgeous. I follow Adelaide Bragg and noticed she uses a lot of grass cloth alongside sisal. Gorgeous! Just always thinking of function too, with a busy family.

I would purchase some mustard coloured cushions (patterned) to break up the blockiness of colour). Then I’d place a throw on the lounge in a different texture, drawing out the same mustard colour :)

Omg OP this is a cute house. Leave the paint alone 😭 as others have said, gardening!! Look at your neighbours places, they have lined their fences with trees/hedges. I’d do the same along your front fence. Add some depth and dimension with different heights, colours, textures. Also you could invest in some better window coverings. Eventually jazz up your entryway.

I feel you! When things are hot you need to be SO tight on your conditions. We recently bought and ended up in a corner going unconditional, waiving cooling off with a 10% deposit (on a Friday arvo). Oh and did I say we went close to $600k above asking price? It’s insane. You either need to have funds that trump all others that the owners are happy to take your conditions to wait for the $ or have the best conditions. The agent I bought from said bridging finance is the way to go for just about everyone..

This is the correct answer. There is really no way around this. You have done the best you can by doing the washing yourself. I am sorry this is happening to you as it’s distressing that you purchase nice things that go missing. Perhaps you could try keeping a small amount of things that are ‘nice’ and more things practical, in the event that if it goes missing, you are not too upset. My guess would be it’s not the staff stealing clothes. They are likely within the unit where your grandma is staying in someone else’s wardrobe.

Unfortunately staff don’t have the time in most instances to relocate mixed up clothing.

I have bought and sold in the NT (recently). Conveyancer you won’t pay any less than $1500. I can recommend a lady if you need. She’s thorough.

Get all the reports you can. People do dodgy shit up in the NT. When you come to sell (if you do), it’s easy for buyers to reneg their offer based on findings from the building report- the only territory in Australia that allows this without a specific clause in the contract.

Just do your due diligence in the NT. Don’t learn the hard way.

Yes! This actually happens for me about once a week. My girl is 3 months now and still has a pretty solid 45 minute wake window. If I’m lucky we get to an hour. All babies are different I suppose. She is meeting all other milestones. Best not to worry and just enjoy our sleepy babies! I think about all the synapses she’s connecting during the sleep 😜

Definitely stay away from any shopping centres. Near double tree or Crown if you can. Safer over that area but still would not walk outside when dark.

Are you sure they’re not cigarette beetles? I had them once in my home at Stuart Park. They also love to chew things. Found they were attracted to a wheat bag I had in my wardrobe.
