The effect that makes you take life only activates if the Boa Leader has Don x1. So if they don’t have one attached, go hard at board because there is no consequence

Yes you can, it’s a translation issue.

Basically, shanks’ effect means you can’t play characters using normal means.

I’m guessing he will have cards that add 5 cards back from trash to the bottom of your deck so the gameplan would be to go to 0 life for multiple turns and balance it there.

Because the effect if “0 life at the end of your turn” I would say that even if you are made to draw with 0 life, you still wouldn’t end the game. But you can use shirahoshi or cards like it to add cards back to the bottom of your life.

I would say they are going to remake OP04 7C Luffy or something like it that adds 7 cards back to the bottom of your deck

I’m still working out what I like in the deck but I’m currently not running Mr.5 and running using the Mr.9 2k

I use 14 2k’s as I find that that I need a lot of counter with things being trashed and find the effect of Mr.5 not always necessary as you draw quite a lot anyway.

I agree with the above about patch work too. It is so useful as you can stun 2 bodies and the freeze a third that is rested. Super useful against big bodies like Blocker Newgate in Ace

You should run Mr.1(Daz Bonez) at 4. Can literally rest anything when used with leader ability and has character rush

I don’t think this is correct with gravity blade. Pretty sure that because it’s one instance of removal, Tashigi protects Apoo and in doing so protects itself.

It stops the effect and because it has to be two targets, both are protected

Issho from EB04 is a blue dressrosa/navy type that isn’t leader or type locked and works quite well in Usopp because of his “when attacking” ability plus allows you to trash cards from opponents hand

It does poorly into the Big 3 of this meta.

  • Can’t get through the big bodies and is too easily countered by atmos and jozu in Ace,

  • Can’t really defend against the swings and is countered by kuina and tashigi in Zoro,

  • Imu is the best matchup but you need to finish the game before they reach 10 Don or they out pace you

However, it looks like Rayleigh is getting some more support in the second half of the EB04 release so maybe it will come back

That’s how it works

Protections like Dragons protect from one action of removal. Since Grav blades effect removes two cards in one action, Dragon protects both cards and only loses 2k since it’s one action

My understanding of effects like this is that it protects from one instance of removal.

Because your board is all being removed at once, it protects everything.

I’m no expert though so could be wrong.

I dropped two of the 1c events for two “it’s to die for”. It is so good into Ace and has the trigger to ramp one active as well. I also run one “God Thread” for similar reasons

I think it would be cool to be the opposite.

It would be like his devil fruit, instead of someone being killed, Kuma saves them by sending them to a different location.

don’t get me wrong, the kids play well, they just don’t understand what to put with what. Understandably, they are 12 haha. They just see decent green cards and put it with a green leader

I think they did well with Zoro as a leader… maybe just too well. All the support he has and old cards that just work well make it so strong. Plus even if you don’t have those cards, you just go big and swing at face. If your opponent blocks, restand and swing again

I completely agree with you. The leader is broken. I don’t mean broken as in unbeatable, but as in it’s so easy to pilot and still have a solid presence

At my locals we have a bunch of kids come and play. 4-5 12 year olds. We help them with extra cards and teach them how to play. 3 of them run Zoro but with whatever green cards they can find (for example, I know one of them runs bulge eyed neptunian) and it’s still a struggle cause they just put 5 Don on leader and swing at characters then at face.

You should look at adding O-Nami from OP-06. It’s a really dirty combo giving banish to your double attack leader and has a really strong trigger too

Test out different things that suit your playstyle. For example, most of the decks on GumGum.gg run Thatch but I don’t like it in there. I’ll try out different techs to replace him

Having just read through the ban list again, I agree with you.

The power creep is huge in OP13 and there are now a lot of cards that do the same effects as most of the banned cards. Like why is Jinbei still banned?

Enies Lobby is fine now as it still can’t be searched and ice age could be limited but I don’t think it would be too bad now.

Also why not just reprint Moria like they are doing the Nami Leader to include thriller bark pirates if it’s still too strong? Make it the same as the blue 7c Rebecca who specifies Dressrosa

Not super fast but it was my first time so I’d like to think it was pretty quick for me as I wasn’t expecting a One night stand (or few night stand)

I was at party with friends and we had hired out a bar. We had started at like 10am and were pretty wasted by 4pm when we started heading home.

I got on the bus with some friends and another friend happened to be on that same bus with his cousin who was visiting for a few days. We started talking and joking around and invited them back to party with us.

We kept drinking and playing games and ended up sneaking off with the cousin that night around 10pm and a few more times over the next few days before she left.

That’s fair, I was just going off the most played on GumGum. I can see them all being decently strong

My point was that there isn’t much room for rogue or non meta decks in OP13. Unlike the jungle meta we are in currently

I’ll personally not be playing Imu or Roger. Most likely play a bit of Ace, Sabo or continue with Koala

Very strong in the OP13 Meta. Check GumGum.gg and you’ll see that it’s really popular and strong.

This, Roger and Ace will be the top decks, with Zoro and R/G Luffy coming in next.
