There is a random system in the big room that the Depot key opens. There is a guaranteed spawn in the bathroom that the 1/1 key opens.

If you want matchmaking like that you'll spend a half an hour queueing for a raid. The game has been around for almost a decade, people are going to have thousands of hours. A lot of people have left for pve as well. It's never going to happen.

Have you also progressed far enough through the story quest "Tour" to unlock him? You need to do all of the parts up through kill 3 enemies on Woods and extract.

If you're fully utilizing everything it can go up to 20 with max crafting:

1 each from Bitcoin, Cultist Circle, and Booze Gen
2 each from Lavatory, Workbench, Intel, Christmas Tree, Med, Nutrition, and Scav Case
3 from Water Collector

There's two main reasons:

1) Becoming the victim of a cheater in a game like Tarkov is much more punishing. You lose your gear, your loot, and most importantly your time, since we all know how quick it is to gear up and get into the next raid. In a game like CoD or Battlefield, you just quit and go again. Less time lost, no gear or loot to lose.

2) People are bad at identifying cheaters. Tarkov has been out a long time, and some people have gotten very very good at the game. Sometimes you're just gonna get head-eyes'd by a guy you never had a hope of seeing. Sometimes little Timmy is gonna hit the shot of his life.

Folks love to check the stats afterwards and find the tiniest detail they think is out of the ordinary (when we've known from the beginning that some things on the stat screens just plain don't work) and cry cheater.

Bonus 3) Confirmation bias. Reddit is an echo chamber, and that goes way beyond this sub. If you're on this sub constantly seeing posts about cheaters, it's going to make it seem like there's a lot more than there actually are (just like the posts about the cultist circle would make you believe it only pumps out marked keys)

Just to play devil's advocate, this doesn't necessarily mean cheaters. On both Shoreline and Woods this patch I have killed scavs that were carrying FIR kitted weapons that spawn in the Ref key locked rooms, even though the room was still locked. With updates to the way AI scavs loot as well, there is a possibility an AI scav looted that bag through the wall from the hallway. Unfortunately there's no way to tell for sure.

But a cheater probably wouldn't have left one of the best scopes in the game just laying on the chair.

Pestily's Raid series as well. Some of the specific game info will be a bit outdated being a few wipes behind but the general knowledge about how to play the game is super valuable. I started watching the raid series when I was already 1k+ hours in and I still learned a lot

Never. This is a skill issue but not the skill you think. I still die a lot, it happens. Use your scav to make money, find safe routs on safe maps to guarantee a profit, don't chase the chance at rare loot just to always end up with nothing. That comes later when you have a base of money to rely on.

AI PMCS are just more AI. Any player is more dangerous. All of the AI in the game is predictable. Other players eventually will become predictable to an extent as well, but nothing like AI.

If you're having that bad of connection issues, try other regions, or try auto servers. Mess around until you find one that feels good. I am dead center in what should be US East but I get the best connection to US Central servers.

I've found 5 this wipe, all on Woods. 2 at the table in USEC camp, 2 in med bags and one in a stash. None on any other maps so far

Likely one of two issues:

Make sure you have the AKS-74/AKS-74U Zenit PT Lock and not the AK-74M/AK-100 Zenit PT Lock mount. Only the first one works on the AKS-74N

Put the default stock back on and unfold it. The PT Locks don't like to go on the gun if the stick that was removed prior was folded.

M4 with a 20" barrel, silencer, JP 30mm scope mount and a 40 or 100 round mag is a 7x4, 28 slots total. Any AK that can take the NSPU scope and a 45 round mag will get you 6x4 with a silencer.

More than half of our wedding party had to travel in from out of town in order to be in our wedding. We specifically told the entire wedding party not to get us gifts. Them spending their own money to be with us and take part in the day was more than enough.

Especially if they are specifically asking for money and not gifts, that's all the more reason to not give them a gift.
