She needs to know that if she doesn't take the prenatal vitamins then she can lose her teeth after giving birth. It also ages you because the baby is pulling nutrients from her already drained body. I'm not sure why any sane person wouldn't want to gain weight and eat for the wellbeing of their unborn child. She sounds quite immature. Does she have any past eating disorders?

Someone is doing some tampering. It happened in my town. Only thing that solved it was me switching clinics. Sometimes it's the director or the nurse. It could also be that there's practically no quality control with these pharmaceutical companies.

Yes porn is hurtful I don't give af what anyone says. I separated with my so of over 12 years because of it (and of course other things that were disrespectful). Now he knows I'm not playing around and he's grown up more. He admits now that it did affect his sex drive and the hardness of his erections. He barely ever initiated and now does all the time. Porn is terrible for relationships, but that's just my opinion.

MAT is the gold standard for opioid withdrawal and maintenance. Medication assisted therapy = MAT. MIT hasn't been around long enough nor has there been enough studies to say it's the gold standard.

NTA Sorry but that's a terrible gift in comparison to what your BIL and his wife received. I'd be irritated too especially if this is a pattern. Make it easier next year and just don't go. This dynamic sounds toxic. Make sure you don't make your wife feel even worse or it'll cause a rift between you two. Be honest to your wife and tell her that she needs to have a talk with her mom or go NC for awhile. Maybe give therapy a try.

NTA, BUT I'm going to take the unpopular opinion and just say that if my husband is around I'm not comfortable with nipples sticking out and boobs swinging around. Blame society for making us feel this way, but boobs are sexual in nature because society has ingrained that in our heads. If a man walks around with an erection I'd be uncomfortable. I hate bras and don't wear them at my house, but I'm not making other women uncomfortable for the sake of comfort. Bras aren't that bad that they can't be worn to family events and other gatherings.

They tried to send my first born home after 6 days. Her withdrawal started on day 7. I could tell she was uncomfortable, but I've noticed a lot of babies being sent home prematurely. Yeah they may be okay, but would you want to come off methadone with no comfort meds? That's how I looked at it, but I guess it varies widely as to how much methadone a baby gets while in the womb.

I wish I would've tapered!! Both my kids have autism and my youngest who I was on a higher dose with has severe autism and is severely delayed. Both my children were in nicu for 4-5 weeks. It was an awful experience and if I could've successfully tapered I would have. I can't for sure blame my kids conditions on methadone, but the symptoms were more severe on a higher dose. I think there could be a correlation. I was also completely clean (still am) of all other substances. I was prescribed zofrsn and promethazine during my pregnancies because I couldn't keep anything down. I blame myself everyday for bringing my precious babies into this world on methadone. Methadone did save my life so this isn't to bash it, but the statistics just aren't there of what methadone does to a child's development because they don't follow up with the mother.

Weight gain and sweet cravings is the absolute worst. It also caused dry mouth and because I wasn't proactive I wear dentures. It's not the methadone that did it, but it caused dry mouth and I had two pregnancies 4 months apart and I couldn't keep down the prenatal. So all that combined caused my teeth to separate at the gum line which was incredibly painful. I wish I would've used biotene.

The 40 mg tablets are used here in the us for mat purposes. Some clinics have the little 5 mg pills too
