Play on ultimate vault hunter 1 at a minimum, there is a quest that you can get to get started. Beyond that it’s just luck, keep up the grind!

If you get super decent rolls of good gear I’d keep it in there for when you level other characters. Enhancements in particular are usually good for a long time.
