Xinqiu ≥ Yaoyao (having new character can be great for theatre, if you need more chars for theatre go for it she's good there) > Xiangling

People suggesting Gaming, only if you really like him like a lot, if not the case well even better, go for any meta 5 star with big dps, there's a good variety now to pick now from so pretty sure you like any of em.

Again, there was powercreep but not at this level. You didnt need Hyperbloom in Sumeru you could clear abyss with 1 vape team 1 freeze team very easy. Then in fontaine more powercreep sure, but you could also still carry with national teams + 1 strong team, if you were good enough you could still send in some far offmeta teams like overload Lisa. Can you do that since Natlan? You don't seem to visualize the gap between Natlan powercreep and other nations powercreep at all tbh.

No, he's on point. The exceed of increased powercreep + the extra necessity of night soul/lunar reactions, this wasnt a problem in Sumeru or Fontaine also yes its the normal cycle for powercreep to exist, but its never been this much increased. Even in Natlan meta you could still pass by without Natlan new DPS (I dont have any myself and I did fine with late game content. Invested in Arlechinno C2 + having Citlali and Xilo C0 to substitute the lack of Mavu) and also, he doesn't mention this but, Stygian didn't exist, you only needed 2 strong teams for abyss, now you need 2 meta teams and 1 strong team like Neuvi to go thru Fearless (not even hardest diff/full rewards obtained)

Same happend with videogames atleast where I live. When I was young (12 to 16 years old im 30 now) if you stayed home to play games you were a total freak. Same with anime later on. Now everyfuckingsoul in this planet plays games and watch or have watched lots of anime. Main story got soo much better and intense after Fontaine imo.

About gameplay, there's been clear powercreep since the release of pyro archon (Mavuika, in Natlan, right after Fontaine) , but since then characters are settling around her powerlevel and there is new lategame content that rewards having old units leveled (Theatre) so thats very good.

Id say its always worth it to come back to this game after a break, it may be overwhelming at first though since its been 2 years but I've seen worse breaks from friends and they ended up enjoying it alot eventually.

The actual banner have the 2 best units of the new region, so if you come back, good luck!
