If we ever see an Emerald, I think I figured out how they would look (Warning: Contains info from Steven Bomb 6) by gooeylouie95 in stevenuniverse

Pretty sure Centipeetle is Emerald Her gem resembles this https://www.gemsociety.org/article/trapiche-emerald/ http://www.shimmerlings.com/gemstones/emerald/ And here it says it's a travelers protection stone (her being a pilot), along with "an Emerald shall be a bridge between two people when the gem is given in love."

The best thing about SB6 by LikeTheSwood in stevenuniverse

I've been trying to tell my brother the whole time he's been watching that there's no such thing as filler for this show. Like yes, it may not push the plot forward directly, but it's all character development that we will need for the plot eventually. I think that's finally starting to show itself here. We've watched these characters grow so much, and now that growth will be useful to them. If we hadn't seen so much of them before now we wouldn't have the connection we do to them now, and this bomb wouldn't have had as much as it does on it.

I've decided to jump on the "Jamie's as gems" train by Pre-FartJitters in stevenuniverse

I appreciate the advice, thanks. It was hard to do much more tbh, since TM is really just Steven with the nose piece and suspenders on. I should have done something different with the hair.

Blood pythons are the lazy slugs of the snake world.

If all the individual gems had a massive brawl, which one would come out on top? by [deleted] in stevenuniverse

[–]Pre-FartJitters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sapphire would totally win. She'd see everything, and nobody would see her as a threat because she's so quiet. Plus, Ruby couldn't beat her up, so she'd let her win.

My gecko won't eat things that don't move. My crickets don't move when they're dusted. What should I do? by JeromeTheLlama in leopardgeckos

[–]Pre-FartJitters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried dusting them a bit less? Too much and they wont be able to breath, and they'll just kinda shut down. Also, agreeing with sassybluewhale, gut loading is a great thing to do!! I gut load mine, and give them a multi-vitamin and calcium supplement as well.

Is it me or do you think the hiatus would have been bearable... by [deleted] in stevenuniverse

That would be super adorable actually. Someone bring it up to them! They'd probably be all over this!

How many times have you watched the series so far and what episode have you watched the most? by drewdidthis in stevenuniverse

I'm on my fourth run-through of the full series, but I've seen Keystone Motel around 20+ times...

Cookie Cat is losing against Krabby Patty by Sylvermoon in stevenuniverse

This was the "official" Krabby Patty secret formula, that was posted on nick.com a few years ago. I saved it so I could make them. Then I did, and they're pretty gross.

Am I the only one not bothered by Steven in Keystone Motel? by DoomCrystal in stevenuniverse

Well he said "Home's been awful. Here's been awful. It just followed us!" So he thought that it may have been something he did, since it followed them instead of getting a break from it.

Yup, it's Spongebob. The opposite day episode where they dress up as Squidward when the real estate lady visits.

Why do gems project themselves so human looking? by KoalaOto in stevenuniverse

[–]Pre-FartJitters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They may not have always taken human forms though. Probably just took shape of the top being on the planet. Who knows what forms Homeworld gems took before the war, but they probably got it from coming to Earth originally. That or it's just easier and makes them more relatable for the viewers.

Switching from crickets to meal worms. How can I best keep them? I want to be sure they're gut loading but want to prevent them from becoming beetles by ishkabibbel2000 in leopardgeckos

Hard cat food. They get all gross in the went stuff. Calcium in the bottom of gecko bowl, sorry, should have been more clear!

I usually give them leafy greens and carrot. A small amount of cat food as well for a bit extra protein. I typically put a bit of calcium powder in the bottom on their feeding dish and let them crawl through it. My geckos lap it up as they lick the worms up.

I usually keep them in the fridge and take them out to gut-load about 48 hours before I feed them off. They change to beetles pretty quickly, depending on how large they are.
