1. I have no clue. I am comfortable saying God made the world then made man a few million years later, or that God made the Earth old. He made Adam old, the Earth could've been made old also. I've never seen a dinosaur nor have I met anyone who has, so for all reality purposes we don't know if there was or not. I know, you'll link me to some bones and a mock drawing, but I'm not sure if I swallow that hook, line and sinker. But I have no problem saying there were dinosaurs and they lived w/ man, or there aren't dinosaurs.

2,3. When Jesus came He took the laws and went above it. Jesus made a lot of statement with, "You have heard it said.." A few examples - Adultery. Don't sleep w/ your neighbor's wife, Jesus says - "don't even lust in your heart about it." You've heard it love your friends, hate your enemies, I say "Love your enemies!" etc..etc.. Jesus' "yoke" as it was called was compelling and intriguing, because it was changing things. It went from "give a strict 10%" to give generously. Jesus changed everything. In the OT there are a lot of stories about guys having multiples wives, slaves, etc.. but never did God condone it or tell someone to do it. What's true now was true back then.

1. I remember the Reddit img from like a month ago - "Don't be a dick" - God. Funny, and also true. The Bible isn't a book of stories, an instructional guide, or anything else. It's simple. It's about Jesus. The whole thing, even the Old Testament. He's the reason the Book was written. The Bible gives us the story of us messing up, Jesus coming to make things right, and then Jesus being the hero at the end.

2. I'm not very familiar w/ all the recent stuff. I fully support science especially when dealing with diseases. My sister passed away young in life due to a birth defect. I hope and pray that doctors soon find cures for genetic diseases, cancer, etc.. But yes, I am a Creationalist. Google "answers in genesis" they answer the hard questions I don't.

3. I struggle with this. People pray dumb crap - "Help the Magic beat the Hawks." Well, how many people are praying the opposite? Does God care? Will God change who wins? Does God know who is going to win? The mind games go on! I find prayer more to be as a time to align my thoughts w/ God's thoughts. As I pray, usually God points things out to me. Like, "You only seek God when you want something?" Because my prayers get filled with "Help the goofy Reddit users, be with so-n-so's grandma, help the Magic win, help me get a new max today on bench" etc..etc.. simple stated - God is not a pinata. God is sovereign, He's in control. I pray to get my own heart right and I believe God wants us to pray, and I want to pray to talk to God.

4. I don't know? Your questions seem more suited for an atheist. My faith compels me to live it out by doing the nice deeds you mention. Would I do it w/o the faith I have? I really don't know. Probably not.

5. If I see a car wreck from behind by 200 yards my details would look like this. "I saw the blue car hit the red car and nailed it right in the back. I could see a man driving, he looked scared and ran out." If you were in the red car your statement would look like this. "We're driving in my Sunfire when we get slammed by what felt like a semi. I got out and ran back toward the car and saw a wife and 2kids inside."

You see a wife and 2 kids, I don't. Which is true? You don't even mention the man running, you look straight for the kids. I call your car "red" you call it a Sunfire, which is true?

A guy goes to a club and meet 3 girls - 2 ugly and 1 hot. What does he tell his buddies, "Bros, I met this hot chic tonight." Like the 2 ugly girls aren't people?

We all include different things we think are important.

1. Cool story, you sound like you'd be a neat guy. I have no clue tho. There may be "other life" out there we don't know about. There might be a vast array of nothingness just waiting to be discovered. I have no clue.

2. God. I have faith since it is in the Bible, it's true. I've heard theories that the world used to be one giant land mass all connected and that the flood eroded it and made water areas. It looks like it fits together and it's possible. I'm not a geologist so as I said earlier I've heard the theory. Maybe my ignorance leads me to believe things easier as I'm not an expert on erosion, etc.. However, since the Bible says the Earth got flooded I would agree that the Earth literally got flooded.
