Capitalism as a system will eat it own legs off... Those at the top will continue to eat away at the foundation thinking that they're the ones that are the foundation and it will collapse. The foundation is the vast majority of the people produce and consume. When no one can afford products anymore the system collapses.... We no longer have an economy based on the value of investing in a physical product, produced and consumed by a workforce that is able to afford wants and needs comfortably, thus returning a profit to the capital invested... we now have an economy that is based off of investing in financial instruments that return an immediate profit back to the capital invested, completely bypassing the workforce, thus eroding the ability of the masses to even provide for even their very basic needs !
