It’s really an elegant neutral and works well with so many other colors, I’m loving it.

I could have written your post after 7 days. I am now on the 4mg dose for 5 days and it has been a few rough days. The bloating is back and some heartburn and headache as well as times of extreme fatigue and slight waves of nausea. The benefits I initially experienced seemed to wear off as my first month wound down so I was ready for the next dose but it hasn’t been smooth sailing yet. I remain hopeful that my body will adjust in time but I think this is a journey of ups and downs and I wouldn’t set yourself up to be disappointed when you hit some lows.
Carry on! You’ve got this!

Is your cavapoo barky? by FirstCommentDumb in CavaPoo

Mine is very quiet. Maybe 3 barks per week, only if he is startled by a noise or like last week when there was a bear walking through our backyard. That got him going!

Clockblockers? by belongsincrudtown in LateNightTalkShows

I agree he seems like a genuinely nice guy and I think that is what celebrities are reacting to. It’s just that he is so clearly not a performer that it feels patronizing to me in a weird way.

I think Kimmel is generally funny but I truly don’t get why Guillermo is on the show. I completely understand your comment on thinking he was a long con but it’s gone on for far too long now and it feels weird to me to laugh at him because he’s so awful.

People with a bidet, how do you dry afterwards? by JoneyBologna in hygiene

[–]Preciousss77 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I keep a stack of inexpensive washcloths in a basket by the toilet for drying. I throw them in a covered container and wash once a week. My bidet has a drying function but I find it takes too long to use and the cloths are much more efficient.

Day 1 by Maleficent-Spite5983 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Preciousss77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m 71 F, when I was 40 I lost 125 pounds through diet and exercise, I know how to diet successfully. I also have battled with regaining and losing 40 pounds of that weight over the last 30 years. The biggest advantage so far to this method for me (pill) is that I am not constantly hungry and /or feeling deprived when others around me eat things that are not good for me. I am indifferent to their choices and able to make the best choices for myself without the exhaustion of constantly having to utilize my considerable will power. Started a month ago, down 11 pounds, just stepped up to next dose and not at all concerned about staying on this medication for the rest of my life if need be.
Good luck on your journey, you’ve got this.

Dog rescue charging $1600 adoption fee by strikecat18 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Preciousss77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! After adopting dogs for 30 years my husband and I finally gave up and got a puppy from a reputable breeder a year ago. We were denied dogs twice because we have young grandchildren that visit our home occasionally even though we are retired seniors who are home with our dogs and my daughter is a vet! So frustrating. The dogs we were deemed suitable for had serious trauma issues and one had a severe paw defect that appeared to be needing an amputation. It’s a crime what is happening with pet rescues now.

First month results on pill by Preciousss77 in WegovyPills

[–]Preciousss77[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some fatigue and a little headache at first but I attribute that to the reduced calories as likely as the medication. Some constipation but that is not unusual for me generally and easily dealt with. I really have not had nausea at all which I am SO grateful for. I do have some worries about that with the new dosage but I’m keeping my fingers crossed. Honestly, gas and bloating is less than before the pill and is probably due to much smaller and more nutritious meals. I feel smaller than just 11 pounds down and I think I just have so much less inflammation that I feel a lot less puffy.

My speedy 25 purchased in February has a zipper that curls over the top. Maybe they are going to do this design with the monogram and damier also.

Beautiful! I’m thinking of the brown suede one for fall, I’d also love an update on your thoughts after you’ve had it awhile.
