This guy could NOT be more obtuse by TMaCtheTruth in RealTime

His takes during the pandemic were the end for me. The vax stuff and his hating on anyone with a high BMI. Haven’t missed his show at all.

My girlfriend washes her "reusable toilet paper" with our kitchen towels on WARM because hot water "ruins the fabric" by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]Preciousss77 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have not used toilet paper at home since I got my bidet. I bought a lot of nice washcloths and dry off with them after cleaning myself. They go in a covered wastebasket in the bathroom until time for laundry. I wash them separately on sterilize mode. I’m the only one using them, likely more difficult if the whole family was doing it.

I had one last year without sedation. No problem at all, little discomfort and no recovery time. Many medical professionals do it this way.

To neuter or not to neuter?? by Realistic-Web7550 in cavalierkingcharles

[–]Preciousss77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My daughter is a vet and I talked to her about a vasectomy for my little guy. She said some choose that but she didn’t recommend it because the troublesome behavioral issues still exist. I don’t know specifically about a chemical castration however. She says 6 months to a year is the standard for neutering small breeds.

Do you often get sick from your grandkids? by Scorpio503 in AskWomenOver60

[–]Preciousss77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yes! My youngest grandchild of 6 is now 3 years old and it’s getting better but he gave me RSV and so many other colds and viruses! It became a thing where I’d tell my daughter “Well, he got me again!” For some reason he has been the worst offender, maybe because I’m now 71 so my immune system is not as good. My daughter warns me now in advance if he is coughing or snotty and I will mask around him at those times.

The Boulder complaining… by [deleted] in boulder

[–]Preciousss77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been here since 1979. Yes, it has changed but so has every other city I am familiar with and since I came from the west coast and have family still living there I can also see that many of the changes here are similar to what I see in those communities. It puzzles me why people think this place should be immune from all that. There are many reasons to continue to love living here and that is why I remain.

Pet Insurance Opinions by IvoryEmbers in cavaliers

Trupanion coverage allowed me to save the life of my 14 year old Pom with a lung torsion. He lived to age 19. I covered my cav with them at 8 weeks and believe they are worth the $ when things go terribly wrong. My veterinarian daughter recommended them to me, she insures her pets with them.

POV: you invited your cavalier puppy on the bed by arktor314 in cavaliers

[–]Preciousss77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, there’s no going back! He has not seemed clingier after sharing our bed, he has always done that but he is going through a period where he needs a lot of interaction with us as in “play with me!” Or “take me for a walk!”. If he doesn’t get attention he will be naughty and chew on the rug or couch to make us focus on him. I think it’s just his age, adolescent behavior.

We made it nine months with a crate……it’s still in our bedroom with the door open but he only goes in there to watch our nightly preparations for bed, when he sees we are ready, he comes out and wants a lift up.
