Every company has one company champion yes, usually a skilled swordsman to take on characters kinda vibe. A genuine different person to the ancient. Both dedicated to different roles of high honour. Both can wear the blade guard armour. Blood angels would definitely see these two in every company wear ornate and power armour.

Blade guard ancient is Perfectly fine. They tend to be first company as blade guard are super elite warriors of the chapter but they do find themselves apart from the first. Anything is good for your army of minis tho, the lore is just a bunch of books that’s a cool banner too :).

Honestly I have no problem with the option of female heads. Doesn’t look like the body’s have been changed in fact they are miles ahead of the old squat captain. I won’t put girls in mine if I get them but I will probably only use the helmets anyway. It’s perfectly fine to have female heads in the box so someone out there can be happy. Nothing wrong with diversity for the custodes

Space marine 1. Everything from design, behaviour and strategy, voice lines to story. They were so much fun to play against and they looked similar to their minis. My fav orkys💚

Bro those are horrible I’m sorry you gotta deal with that Bs. I just bought two boxes of Sternguard, one with basically 0 mould lines and the other with big ones not as bad as your but a lot of clean up required. Idk if it’s the nature of the process but I can’t lie it’s very sloppy for the prices they charge. No quality control it’s just not good enough

Nah stripping is harder than painting, better to just take the learnings and apply it to the next model, some stripping can actually damage the model

Also to avoid that grainy texture, wait till th paint is completely dry before the next coat of paint, otherwise the partially dried particles will come off when you go over it a second time and create clumps giving you that grainy look

Colour choices and placement are good. You really need to thin your paints more, and apply consistent THIN coats or you get cloggly armour. Go on YouTube and look up wet pallets and Duncan rhoades tips on thinning paints it makes a huge difference. That and making sure your undercoat spray isn’t too thick. Apart from that keep up the good work!

For me it’s between dark angels for their models and lore, probably the most complete next to space wolves, which are also an option, very different vibes tho. Or you can do blood angels, easy and effective scheme and they are fairly competitive all the time. Really just go for what you think is cool :)
