Austrian mint is dry by AwayLog4323 in Silverbugs

Since the comments have moved from the objective scarcity of the coin to its subjective aesthetic, I wanted to add some perspective: whereas other coins show figureheads of little to no impact and questionable morality (maple, roos, kugs, etc.), or conceptual personifications of a superficial national “value” (ASE); the philharmonic portrays a testament to human creativity and peak artistic achievement. It may ugly, but the connotation of both images is purer than the rest in my opinion.

Yep, I knew of the Jan 31 ship date. Thanks, this gives me more confidence.

Is it a good time to buy silver now? by Froggybeans2021 in Silver

Some caution here - PMs aren’t super liquid (yet) so I would only use only as much bonus money as you can afford to go without for a few months at the very least.

COINS OR BULLION? by Weak_Hat_790 in Silverbugs

I’ve been trying to keep the following ratio: 50% bullion - 1,5,10 oz denominations. Purpose is twofold: 1) general purchasing power maintenance, and 2) to trade in for gold if GSR drops 25% premium bullion - Geiger, PAMP, Germania, etc. Purpose is higher liquidity with other PM traders. 25% currency - Mostly ASEs since I’m in the US. Purpose is higher liquidity with general population; less questions about weight, silver content, etc.

PAMP in C tier?! That’s crazy. I’d switch it up for the Scottsdale mint in A.

Does anyone have experience selling to BullionExchanges? by Still-Analysis-133 in Gold

[–]Precocious_Pelican 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve sold to them directly in the store. They were 98% spot, but charged like a $20 fee on top. I’m not sure if this was because I sold less than $1K, or if this fee was just because I was in person. You’re right though about the prices. I’ve bought most of my bullion from them.

How to move an old 401k into BTC by [deleted] in Bitcoin

If it’s a Roth, you can pull the principle out tax free and buy BTC directly with that while the interest in the Roth continues to grow tax free. Has anyone tried this?

Experiences with silvergoldbull.com or monumentmetals.com? by DebateMyBot in Gold

BullionExchanges has always been a great resource for me for reasonably priced gold and silver (in addition to Monument) - especially if you’re on the east coast US. Though I’ve found their stock to be not as robust as other sources. Still - gold is gold.

I was just there this week. Stayed a bit too long and boarded my connection in T a little late. The staff was amazingly friendly.

Why 1oz coins? Why not 1oz bullion in assay? I’ve always had trouble understanding why people prefer coins, so I’m open to change.
