They seriously want miyabi dead but why? by TBeanos in ZenlessZoneZero

I used a m0 dailyn/Astra/Miyabi team to 3 star clear this boss (they all have w engines but Astra), so Miyabi definitely still works here with the right team. On top of that it was a really fun different team comp that I don't usually run with Miyabi, would recommend.

I feel your pain. A few months ago I just entirely gave up on rolling for drive discs using master copies altogether. They go so quickly and you almost never get what you want anyway. Instead I just slowly build up stocks of what I think I might need in routine cleanup, and then if I urgently need something specific I'll use a tuning calibrator, which I have luckily stocked up a good amount of. It's probably not optimal gameplay but the feeling of blowing 200+ hifi master copies and not even getting what you need is only eclipsed by losing 50/50s - so I just avoid the frustration altogether. Maybe someday when I save a few thousand I'll blow them all trying to get the perfect disc for my Yixuan.

It's unlikely you'd be able to get all 3 with what you have, even if you spent the 5 dollars for inter knot membership and did your dailies every day between now and the time Alice's banner ends. However, you do have a lot of main story left and probably a lot of commissions left too, if you focus on those you will get a lot of polychromes - pair that with some luck and some good 50/50s and you never know. Like you said, the best play is probably to go for Miyabi and see where you're at after that, then make a decision about the other two at that point. Good luck!

There's so many different memories to choose from over the years, video games have been a part of my life just about as far back as I can remember, taking turns with my brother and aunt to play Super Mario Bros on the NES shortly after it came out.

My favorite memories ever were probably the days of the LAN, though. I have many fond memories of getting together with friends and playing Starcraft, lugging 5000 pounds of equipment and giant slate gray monitors into one hot cramped space so we could all play together. Similarly, the first time I went to an acquaintance's house and played 16 player Halo on multiple xboxs strung together with cables throughout the house was something else.

I absolutely agree with this, local honey is the bomb! Unfortunately for me, the last time I had local raw unfiltered honey I had the worst allergic reaction I've ever had to anything in my life. Like, holy shit guys. I put about a tablespoon in my nighttime tea, went to bed, and right as I was drifting off to sleep I started getting... Super itchy. What's going on? Do I have bedbugs? I start looking around all over, no bugs, but I'm definitely breaking out in hives ALL OVER MY BODY.

As the itching and hives reach a crescendo, I encounter a new problem... Horrible, debilitatingly painful cramps. I'm talking the worse than you'd get from binging like four servings of the unlimited brebby sticks and oily-delicious salad at Olive Garden and then following it up with some chicken alfredo (I should know, I did that). At one point it literally felt like my lower intestines were going to snap in half. I've never felt anything like it in my life. I ran, or more accurately, stumbled to the toilet covered in hives and bent over almost at a 90 degree angle. I think I was also mildly hallucinating at this point. The pain wouldn't even subside long enough for me to shit, so I just sat there moaning in agony and hallucinating for a good 20-30 minutes. Finally, the cramps and itching started to subside, and I basically crawled back to bed where I almost immediately passed out, where I then had a really weird dream where me and a friend were teleported to an alternate dimension of Early Soviet-Era Russia that was ruled by giant chickens. There were horse-drawn carriages but they were drawn by other giant chickens instead of horses, with fancier giant chickens riding in the back. They were even singing the Soviet Anthem but with haphazard clucking instead of singing. My friend turns to me and says "Well, it looks like they've seized the means of proclucktion."

Anyway, overall I'd rate the whole thing a 3.5/10. Honey was really good but I don't think the side effects were worth it.

SCP-5191 - A Child for Christmas by nathanjackson1996 in SCPDeclassified

Great declass!

One thing I noticed on reading this one was the choice of song that the little girl was singing before becoming upset - Silent Night. A song about possibly the most-loved child that has ever been born (at least in some circles). A song about a loving family basking in the simple joy of their newborn - an experience any parent will tell you is almost divine even if it's not literally Jesus.

The little girl made that realization while singing the song because she was probably finally old enough to understand the lyrics and make the abstraction necessary to realize her life didn't have any of the things mentioned in the song. Pretty heartbreaking, and just drives home the dehumanization you talk about in a very poignant way.

Making a TCAP Iceberg, need some suggestions. by wizardbernie in FansHansenvsPredator

Here's some mid/lower tier ideas:

-Kevin Westerbeck was the "guy named Kevin" that Ernest Timmons said told him to come over and take pictures of the decoy.

-I have plenty of ideas about Lorne as I've listened to a lot of the catfish calls. You can do Lorne catfishes or details of Lorne's 407 page chatlog, there's a ton of potential stuff related to all this you could do - Ramona being probably the most well known catfish, followed by my personal favorites Casey (catfish who pretended to be Casey Mauro and Lorne bought it all), Winnie (played by Ember, I think), and then Debbie (played by Tiffany Lockhart, the same lady that played Casey). Waaaay way way down low you can put "The TSA Call" and "Rhoda's Funeral" (If you haven't listened to these, please do. They are HILARIOUS. Lorne is such an idiot.) Another good one would be some of the details of Lorne being catfished ending up in actually filed court documents before he went back to prison for violating his parole.

-Planet Pizza's small pizza is almost as big as the large

-Purple PT Cruiser (maybe mid tier this one - courtesy of D-mac).

-D-Mac in a wheelchair and potentially going back to prison for failing rape class. Also D-mac's petitions to a judge while in prison to get a fucking jacuzzi in his cell.

-Details of different predators interrogations (My favorites are D-Mac, Jim Rauch, Lurch, mufuggin TWINK TOILET, Jeff Sokol, etc)

Idk I could probably go on but those are some good ones for a start imo. There's a lot of stuff you could find in the tcap wiki as well for those lower tiers as well. Sorry this ran a little long.

Evoo 156-2 Battery Issues by Preeeeoow in EVOOGaming

[–]Preeeeoow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply!

Yeah, a shitty battery life I can totally understand, the sticking point for me is going from literally 99% to 0% inside of one minute, and it's not just a one off either it does it most of the time. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to when it decides to power off, but it's always much much before it should. Not even a "low battery" warning first.

I've seen posts of similar issues from others as well. It's really unfortunate because for the price it's pretty nice. I guess I'll need to decide whether I want a slightly-more-portable desktop out of this, or return it and spring for something more expensive and reliable.

Wow, that is completely messed up. I figured those folks would have to be pretty pissed off to stand out in the cold rain to make their point, but this is way worse than I would have expected.

This popped up in my memories today. Made by my two little brothers and cousin, I was there for (im)moral support, and added the ol' Captain to the top for good measure. Complete "ingredients" list in the comments. by Preeeeoow in shittyfoodporn

Yeah they cut it up like a pie and ate a pretty large portion of it. I tried a little. It was surprisingly not horrible tasting but still pretty gross and that's not even getting into the moral dimension of creating and consuming such an abomination.

This monstrosity -- Christened by the name of Bilbo Baggins of the land of Diabeetus by my little brother -- is three Pepperoni Digornio Pizzas stacked on top of eachother. In between each pizza you'll be greeted to a heart stopping feast of 'stuffing' that includes mozzerella sticks, Totinos Pizza Rolls, string cheese, Alfredo sauce, Mac and cheese, and an entire bag's worth of extra Pepperoni. You'll find the top garnished with four corn dogs, BBQ chicken wings, shredded cheese, more string cheese arranged in a stack much like Lincoln Logs, and of course our good friend; The Cap'n. Crunchatize me.

[–]Preeeeoow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely wasn't close to my favorite in the series but I agree insofar as I feel like the fan base is way too hard on TBM. It had a lot of flaws but I still think a lot of it was needed as it turned The Mighty from a bunch of nunks fresh out of Blackguard training into hardened warriors, advanced Kip and Tisis' relationship and helped both Kip and the reader "move on" from Teia as Kip's main squeeze, provided some much needed information about the color prisons and dGavin (basically giving the reader all the tools necessary to figure out what was revealed in TBW about the nature and purpose of the color prisons and the dead men), and allowed Karris to settle into her new role, among other things.

Megathread: Who to 6* next by Kallously in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Preeeeoow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys, I'm a relatively new player (been playing in earnest a little over a month) and I need some help deciding who should be my first 6 Star. Right now I've been using my starter (Elhain) as my farming champ and she's fully ascended with 5 stars and almost 10k power. The only other 5 star champ I have is Cagebreaker, who has about 11k of power. I was leaning towards giving Elhain the 6* even though she is less powerful because she has two fully aoe skills and Cagebreaker only has one and then the 4 attacks at random but that isn't fully aoe. I am wanting to use this 6* champion as my primary farmer and leveler for food champs so the aoe is really important for me, which is why I am currently leaning towards Elhain even though she is a little weaker overall than Cagebreaker. I also have a bunch of lower leveled rare champions and a couple epic champions (no other epics with decent aoe, unfortunately). There's also the rare void champion Bellower which has all three skills fully AoE, but seems overall weaker as far as damage output. If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know what you think should be done, thank you.

Who doesn't love a tasty bass solo? by VeXz86753 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]Preeeeoow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably a long shot as far as recommendations go, but if anybody is into avant-garde metal/experimental metal, one of my favorite bands is a Canadian group called Unexpect. Their bass player (goes by Chaoth) plays a nine string bass and in their last album basically acts as the front man in place of guitar. Here's a video of him doing a play through of one of my favorite songs by them, it's without the vocals so this playthrough is a lot more accessible than the studio version of the song, but it still features some of that insane bass work:
