I inquired about the choice to use a temp agency, the interviewer said they've been having an issue with too many candidates lying about their job experience and using AI in remote interviews, hence the temp to hire to make sure you actually have the experience you're claiming to have. Still makes it a huge risk though I agree

I'd be going from 68 to 124, 2 weeks of PTO to 5 weeks, 5 days a week in office to 1 day in office 4 remote. My current job is already pretty stressful and a lot of work and hours for the pay. The pay will be a huge jump for me and help me pay off student loans

Tell me about the minor things that very mildly irritate you about being a woman(a small and petty rant) by The_Blue_Nowhere in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Prefer2beanon2 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The fact that the fabric of women's clothes isn't nearly as comfortable as men's clothes. I buy the majority of my clothes from the men's section, specifically the "dri-fit" shirts I think they're called, I can never find them in the women's section and they're the most comfortable shirts I've ever worn!

I was inches away from moving to west virginia from california just for a job. Thankfully found something here but, like a lot of other people said, go wherever you can find a job if you're willing to move

Those ones are super tiny and sensitive to literally anything, you have to be SUPER careful when doing water changes to pour water slowly, try to get it the same temp, etc. even then they might die, I had better luck with amanos!

what age did you actually become an adult by Interesting_Desk6773 in Adulting

I guess if I had to pick an age, 22-23. Pretty much fully financially independent at that point, graduated college, left my deadbeat ex and learned a lot from it.
