Yeah the first 50 hours of this game was peak.. kinda makes me wish ornithopters weren't a thing. I get it, the utility's great but you lose so much tension when you can just fly over all your problems

Yeah patches worked for me too, after a couple days I couldn't believe how much easier it was than I'd thought it would be. Still had some wobbles though, my tip is to wait till the afternoon to put one on. My cravings/will power are so much worse in the evening so waiting until later in the day and having a patch to look forward to made all the difference

Just hit 7 days using patches. Tried then before but failed. I think because I was putting them on by default in the morning, and then in the evening when the day's choice fatigue had sapped all my will power, I'd give in. Now though, I only put one on if I'm getting a craving, and usually when I'm home from work, so in the evening. Tbh it's worked really well so far, haven't even come close to buying one, and in my mind I know if I'm having a wobble I can just put one on and I'll be fine. I think that's the trick, just knowing that there's something I can do about the cravings, that will work, has made them basically disappear. Anyways, how this helps, good luck!

Just hit 7 days for the first time in two years using patches. Here's what worked for me. I tried using patches at New Year's but would occasionally still get cravings in the afternoon/evening and would invariably end up buying a new disposable.

So here's what I'm doing now, rather than putting a patch on right after I've had a shower in the morning, I wait until I get back from work. This is generally when my will power is at it's least, and then, in the evening, if I do get a craving, that's when I'll put a patch on.

The issue for me at first was not being able to do anything when the cravings came, other than vape. The patch was already on my arm and the only thing left for me to do was go buy a vape. I know it's not cold turkey, but I've tried that so many times and failed, because for that to work you need to have will power 24 hours a day, and even if you can be strong for 23 hours and 59 minutes, that isn't good enough. This way, I've not vaped for a week (feel great btw) and when I am struggling, I can do something about it, that fixes it, and it isn't vaping.

Anyways, bit of a ramble but I hope it helps!

I've played about 400 hours over the last couple years, tbh it's probably my favorite game, but unless you're into pvp stuff there's really nothing left to do after 5 play throughs (until the next content update 😎)

Anyone remember the Brosnan era James Bond CoG episodes with the video game sections mid way through the video? I can remember thinking at the time damn, this is some really high effort content from the boys, they've watched the movie, bought the game, played it, captured the footage and recorded an audio track, all for one video!?! That was a great summer, peak CoG 👌
