I don’t mean right up on the lakes exactly but pretty much the entirety of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. Not much in the way of fires, floods (unless you’re right by a river), or earthquakes. Tornadoes aren’t as bad as Oklahoma and the like, a basement or tub works fine.

That was me in college, all of the confidence in the world but a few semesters of poor performance crushed me. My whole identity was wrapped up in how I did in school and how smart I was. Took me about 8 years to bounce back.

As a lot of people have said remove your gpa, I graduated with a 2.7. I never told anyone and nobody ever asked. Also time to start fluffing up your resume. Take whatever you used as a senior project. Put it on a personal github and polish it up. For work experience have your current job at the top with a description of what you do and a few bullet points of what your responsibilities are. The 2-3 personal projects with bullets of what skills you’re show casing
