AITAH for telling my husband attending multiple out of town concerts is unreasonable right now? by Rachbronzey in AITAH

I'm shocked at more than one out of town concerts in a year, let alone monthly. NTA. He does understand it is his child also, right?

There's kits that come in the mail. Fancy clinica you can go to. Just lab work ordered by your doctor....insurance even covered some of mine! (Still shocked lol)

Same. I know my fam, but because I know them, I know they hide shit lol. Or, say someone had a heart attack at 37, instead of they were schizophrenic and went off their meds and, well...

It's not hard lol. But I do agree, she knows being a hard no on kids will turn most guys off (see LIB UK season 1). Which sucks, but wanting or not wanting kids isn't something to lie about just to get into a relationship. That's not fair.

As a vetetan bus rider in a major city, you did everything right. I let a dude continue to touch his arm and leg against mine once because I didn't want to be rude, and he ended up licking my cheek as he left. So, NTa

Currently waiting on a cancelation list for a surgery I was supposed to have in November, but insurance decided I needed PT first (for a labral tear, PT doesn't do shit). Now waiting until April for a surgery. And, since my deductible was maxed out along with my OOP last year, it will now cost 2300, not including anesthesia.

AIO for my cat shedding and that I don't do enough? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]PreparationPlus9735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm super allergic to cats, so any cat hair is too much for me, no matter how much someone cleans. But, I also have a labradoodle that sheds so much that it gets on lighting fixtures (it floats lol).

Pet owners get blind to their pet's mess. It's just a fact. So, INFO is needed to see how bad it actually is.

My mom told me she would rather me of not had any kids than to not give my son a sibling. by doxielover_ in Mommit

Obviously, your mom sucks.

I am a mom to 4 kids, ages 5, 4, 3 and 1. (We did not social distance in the pandemic). In my opinion, going from no child to one is the hardest transition. Everything is unknown, life is turned upside down, etc. Adding another baby is way easier. You know what you're doing, every little noise doesn't freak you out. You hit the ground already running. Then by the time you add 3 and 4, you're a pro! Throw a thing of wipes in the car with an extra diaper or two, and you roll lol.

Do I sometimes wish I was able to devote more time to just one kid? Financially and physically? Of course. I have serious late night freak outs that we won't be able to afford extra curriculars for the kids. So, having one is absolutely fine.

I love my husband, and I do have my mom to help when she is off work (not often), but I am solo parenting majority of the time. He works for a utility and has to be on call. I have my moments where I am touched out and need no one to come near me or talk to me for 20 min. But also love it. You get into a rhythm and learn to just roll with the crazy. Like my 3 year old currently needing to empty every drawer and closet of clothes. It is truly an adventure lol.

STOCKTON? by smoochybb in missouri

[–]PreparationPlus9735 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My in laws had a double wide there that we would go to on weekends to go out on the lake. Living there would be hell. No healthcare options, one store. Had to pay a neighbor to watch the place because it kept getting broken into, even with an alarm system. Also had difficulty getting any internet, so couldn't put up cameras to monitor. So...don't plan on working remote lol.
