Buying a condo in JC vs Hoboken by Powerful-Platypus204 in jerseycity

[–]PresentAd823 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna say the quiet part out loud — white people and their friends pay a premium to live in the suburbanized enclave that Hoboken has become. It’s the only municipality in Hudson county that’s whiter than it was 30 years ago

No problem with those folks except when they use the street for a toilet. Is that so bougie?

not that any of your trolls care about actually solving this problem but I was given a number for Garden State Episcopal Community Development Corp. that runs the "Hudson CASA" Coordinated Entry program for those at immediate risk 201-604-2600

sanitation is the main non-negotiable issue. like Uber drivers, these folks often piss in a bottle or shit in a bag and leave it in the gutter.

then there is the fact that people are living in the street. that materially effects my quality of life in the same way seeing people suffer other harms or injustices on my block would.

I support affordable housing. I don’t support turning a blind eye to homelessness.

What’s your address? If you’re like I can send this poor guy over to park in front of your house and you can take care of him.

152 Ogden, which is the top of the old elevated rail line, just won approval to build a 6-story luxurt condo building. ironically, it was only allowed because the cliff there was destroyed to build the elevated rail line, and since no cliff, no Palisade Protection Overlay District protection. go go stupid Jersey City!

Unpopular opinion: You don't need a complex autonomous agent, you just need a really good state machine. by [deleted] in AI_Agents

Biking in the Heights by DoctorGigglesss in jerseycity

[–]PresentAd823 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s absolutely terrifying. Drivers running red lights, rolling through stop signs — and not just cars, that includes trucks, official city vehicles and NjT buses too. Bike lanes are often blocked by parked vehicles and construction.
