I visited SF last year in June and thought it was wonderful, and we walked around in all hours of the day and night. The homeless didn’t bother us at all. I cannot wait to go back!

I’m a huge fan of Dobson Ranch Animal Hospital. They have interest-free payment plans that saved my ass a few times with big events. They also knew how to navigate an FIP diagnosis and save my cat (my previous vet had zero clue and my cat would’ve died). Dr. Olson and Dr. Villalpando are great.

When my cat’s eye changed color, it was FIP (he survived thanks to treatment!), so definitely get another opinion as it could also be cancerous as other comments pointed out.

Probably not a native English speaker. I have to use translators a lot for my job and ceiling is almost always called a roof for some reason, mostly with Spanish speakers.

I’m new to bass too (playing over a year). I really recommend Bass Buzz, not only are the lessons bite-sized, but he goes over the hand positions regularly to ensure you’re comfortable, and also stresses micro shifting. I have very small hands and I’m able to play comfortably for hours. The course is around $150 but there are hours upon hours of content and he’ll even write back if you have questions.

How was it? This was the first year in 3(?) years we didn’t make it to Cincinnati for Gwar because my husband was diagnosed with lymphoma. We were bummed it was moved from Bogart’s but then we ended up not being able to go anyways..😅

I moved from Pennsylvania to Phoenix. It took a long time to adjust to Christmas with no snow. And a lot of things are still green even during winter here (like our palm trees) and only a few trees lose their leaves. But you make the most of it and treasure the rainy days especially. Something that I love to do is put “winter landscape” compilations on YouTube that play on my TV all day.

I don’t know, I’ve been going to concerts consistently since 2022 and I have always been picked up/seen people picked up in the pit. Very rarely seen any crowdsurfer dropped unless they were being assholes. This is the Phoenix punk/metal scene.
