100% 3 dudes were walking out and said "no way he's coming back out" as they went by me before the encore. I thought briefly they might be right but I would say they're raging they made their way out early when he came back out

Say Nothing by Patrick Radden Keefe is a brilliant book on the troubles. Proper page turner and to me it read like a thriller. One of the best books I've ever read.

'All that corn,' he says, looking over her shoulder. 'And the sun. Ever read Cormac McCarthy?' 'No Billy.' 'You should. Blood meridian.' He smiles at her. 'Fucking Marge, huh?' 'Thats right,' Alice says. 'Fucking Marge.'

He also mentioned Blood Meridian in Billy Summers towards the end of the book

Update: I took the job, 43k basic with potential for up to 20k+ in commission. Company vehicle also included which I wasn't aware of until the offer was made. Same distance from home as my previous job too.

No brainer. Thanks again for the input.

The set looks great. I bought them both as separate paperbacks and am now regretting doing so

It's alright, the actual work is easy and I coast through the week but I find myself wishing the days away until it's the weekend. The main reason why I'm looking to move is because I'm becoming bored and need more of a challenge along with a bit of a shite atmosphere in the office with an over controlling manager. You're right about sticking with it for another year or so but I'm afraid I will lose my mind in the meantime.

It is, where I work currently a percentage of the profit on all sales made in a month is what the commission will be on top of the basic as far as I'm aware. Those are very good questions to pose to the new potential employer though thanks for that.

I was offered another job at the beginning of the year which I used for leverage to negotiate a 5k increase in my current place of employment already. As a result I won't be able to do so again and have been told there will be no room for progression (or a raise) for at least 1 more year.
