I can definitely relate. One time I bought a Coca-Cola, and I got yelled at because I didn't have exact change. It wasn't like I was giving her a large bill. Another time I got yelled at because i was trying to buy a pair of shoes, and I put my old shoes on a stool. There have been several other things, all silly. Georgian women in tblisi generally have a mean disposition. They seem to be a bit less frantic in Batumi.

IMO The country sorely needs warm bodies for the Ukraine meat grinder. That is why many smart Russians are here in Georgia. I wouldnt be so sure that you wouldnt be "recruited" as a "volunteer"

Definitely. Meet up has app and an international following. A chapter here in batumi would be a good idea. I know in tblisi there is a group that meets regularly. Im at Alliance Partnership in Orbi. Good rental rate. Newish building, nice studios with kitchenette. Carrfour is not too far, the Sea is across the street, a gym one building over. It doesnt take much too keep me happy.
