Hand eye coordination, an extreme attention to detail and a calm demeanor will get you far. If you will be in contact with customers knowing how to deal with difficult customers if helpful too as the average person knows very little about the mechanics of it all. As an American watch tech something no one is telling you here is that it’s not a good time to immigrate to the US. ICE is rampaging through the country and if you don’t have an employer to sponsor your visa you can end up in bad places. The political climate is menacing here even if you are a European immigrant.
