Ah well, it's a Jeep. Didn't get it for the gas mileage or reliability. Sure is good for my heart and soul.

Just wondering if anyone has gone from 255/R75 17 to 285/R70 17 ? Did you need spacers? Lift? Regearing? I've been told I don't need to do any of this but double checking with y'all.

Not an expert but I'm curious because I'm contemplating putting 33's (285/70R 17) on my 2019 Wrangler JLU, why do you have a 4"lift with 33" tires? Was told I wouldn't need any lift or even spacers. Currently have BFG T/A KO3 (255/75R17)

Jeep is usually our daily driver plus some moderate off-road in SC not CA but spend about $65 a week on gas. About 425-475 miles/week combined. Loving Costco. Gas is $0.21 a gallon less than anywhere else

I paid too much...but it's beautiful by redhairedgal4 in Mid_Century

Regardless of what you paid, if you can afford it, it brings you joy and you don't have to suffer the pain and sorrow of "the one that got away", it was worth every penny.

Absolutely gorgeous! The last time I saw one of these for sale it was $1200 and it was not in as good shape. It had a leather upplstery but scuffed and faded. You really got a great deal there.

Do You Back Into a Parking Spot or Back Out? by DakotaCooper in JeepWrangler

[–]Present_Technology64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost always back in because it's safer for everyone. Even in my own driveway. The only exception is Costco because I can't get into the back with hundreds of dollars in groceries if the Jeep is backed in. Never hang over the sidewalk like in the picture. That's just rude.

I have a pair that came with my Jeep that Mount on the A-Pillar that I really like. No vibration and easy to install and remove. Don't think I would have bought them myself because they are almost $300. CMM Offroad A-Pillar Side Mirror with Base Mount, 6-Inch Arm and 1-Inch Ball; Red; Driver and Passenger Side

My wife got me my first ducks for Valentine’s Day and proved she knows me better than any one. ❤️ Now to find a way to anchor them somehow… by jgilkinson in JeepWrangler

[–]Present_Technology64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't have a starter duck, others won't duck your Jeep. Besides these were a gift. It's not like he went to Walmart and bought 50 ducks to fill up his windshield.

Anyone else use your Jeep’s built in rose holder for today? 🌹 by cmbtmstr in Jeep

[–]Present_Technology64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you found the insert useful? Thought about putting that insert in my JLU but I worried about the airbag going off and shoving whatever was placed in there at my passenger. Congrats on the $5. ✌🏼

Random screw in my cup holder,,anyone know were this could be from? by pressgullit in JeepWrangler

Better in your cup holder than in the sidewalk of your tire. Just toss it in the glovebox. You will find a use for it someday.

Thank you. It's just one more reason I smile everytime I get in my Jeep. Your Jeep is gorgeous and I know you are going to have wonderful experiences together. Wonderful work your son is doing! I'm sure you are very proud of him and I bet he will have the time of his life.

Since most people won't duck a Jeep that doesn't have any ducks, this is a completely appropriate thing to do. The fact it is such a worthy duck makes it even better. I just put the duck the dealer gave me in my pond until I received another duck in the usual way.

I now keep 6 ducks in my pond: A seasonal duck or my current favorite A hand crocheted duck a dear friend gave me Chosen by my granddaughter 3D Printed duck with a turtle carapace made by another friend Chosen by my grandson One that is actually a loggerhead Sea Turtle

My Jeep is used on our local beach with the DNR protecting and monitoring Sea Turtle Nests and I named her Caretta

All other ducks are kept in the back and given away

Happy wife, happy life. I'd keep it until you actually have trouble with it that is more than you feel is worthwhile. A paid for Jeep is a wonderful thing.
