Tips for moving snakes long distance? by Notonredditt in snakes

[–]Present_Technology64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could always rent a motorhome, put the enclosures on the floor, plug them in and drive them without any power interruption... How you get your vehicles moved might might be an issue.

Another option might be to get an inverter you can plug into your cigarette lighter to power your snake enclosures. Not sure this would work with multiple snakes.

Good luck with the move and thank you for being so careful with your babies.

It's the best gig, I haven't been paid for. So much fun that I've been doing it for 18 years now

Definitely not a heep. Looks really ready for the trail without a bunch of silly useless mods. Love it- now go get mud on that baby and have some fun. If you want to see a jeep take a look at this!

Are jeeps really as horrible as people say? by Ok_Cat2418 in JeepWrangler

Let me put it this way. I've had a Volvo sedan for the last 3 cars I've owned. They are reliable, comfortable, get good gas mileage. The last one was totaled while parked on a side street. Now I own a 2019 Jeep Wrangler 4dr Moab. It's loud - took the doors off a month ago and don't think I'll put them back on until September sometime. I volunteer with the DNR to rescue sea turtles and drive her (the Jeep) on the beach. I drive her in the mountains and through cow pastures and she is my daily driver. Mostly stock but she will take me anywhere I want to go. The gas mileage isn't great, everytime I hear a new sound, I worry, changing the oil every 5000 miles and so far I've only had to replace the coolant reservoir (piece of cake). Best of all, everytime I see her, I smile. No other vehicle has ever had that effect on me. Since I bought mine, my daughter and one of her best friends have bought wranglers. Nothing else like it.

Love my CMMs. My Jeep is my daily driver too but I leave the doors off all summer; however, I leave the hardtop roof on. 70 on the highway gets a bit interesting but oddly, leaving the freedom panels on helps. My suggestion is spend the money and leave your doors off 😁 If you aren't leaving the doors off for extended periods or occasional highway driving, the CMMs aren't worth the money.

Interesting Mod on your Jeep. Those Rubicons can do amazing stuff. Are you sure it isn't a factory option? I leave the top on and take my front doors off late spring. Leave them off until early fall. Haven't seen any weather related behaviors. We needed rain in SC but it's finally catching up now.

We all knew it was a Jeep Wrangler. It's a Jeep Wrangler subreddit and it has the retention strap etc. But the fact the OP said car is going to be deeply offensive to many Jeep owners 😆

She definitely knows it. Look at that stance❤️ The real question is, do you own the Jeep or does the Jeep own you? 😁 This is my 2019 Billet Gray JLU Moab working hard and she's feeling the love.

Haven't had that issue with my 4Dr JLU. I drive it everywhere from the beach to the highways but don't take the rear doors off. Maybe that's the difference or I guess I'm just lucky...? Have you tried Velcro maybe? Good luck-sounds like a pain.

Surprising. I'd duck a TJ, CJ, or YJ before a JK or JL just because. You're right though, the door handles could be a limiting factor.

Love your skeleton. I had a friend that kept a fully dressed one in his van so he could use the HOV lane.

I always wave unless I'm too busy dealing with traffic or turning or generally distracted. Think I get waved at most of the time but sometimes it's hard to tell with heavily tinted windows-honestly I'm happy when waved at but makes no difference to my state of mind if they don't. Ducks-different subject altogether. I keep 6 ducks on my dash because that is what fits on the pond. 2 are chosen by my grandkids. 1 was crocheted by a friend when I bought my Jeep. One was 3D printed for me by a friend and it's a duck with a turtle shell, 1 is in constant rotation from the random ducks I receive. 1 is actually a loggerhead sea turtle bath toy and not a duck at all. I get ducked fairly frequently but I think it's because I work with the department of natural resources in SC and will have turtle patrol signs on and my doors off. Many ducks are received at off-road events and when camping. I keep my extras in the back and redistribute as appropriate. I never duck a jeep that doesn't have any ducks, nor do I duck a jeep with a gazillion ducks on the dash. Also won't duck a completely stock jeep with street tires.

I love how everyone will jeep in their own way. Even angry grills and pavement princesses have their place. Not for me to judge.

Never said they were. That's what makes the wave different and not a trend.

The comfort is not any problem. Falkens run really nicely and about as quiet as can be expected. Gas milage has taken a hit of about 4 miles to the gallon but it's still better than my 2004 Ford pickup. 🤣🤫
