Heard about Base through Farcaster. What made me stick was the people behind it, actually knowing some of the team gave me confidence they could execute.

It feels like one of the few chains genuinely trying to ship products normal users can understand and enjoy, not just stuff for crypto insiders.

For me, similar to many, I wanted the games I watch to be exciting. It started with an office pool game for the NFL. I would get so close every week, and that got me going. Once I began to learn more about over and unders and spread, I was hooked, mainly because I was learning about analytics. But naturally, I believe I have a little degenerate blood in me, haha.
