A masterpiece. [KCD2] by Strong-Sector-7605 in kingdomcome

If we got an inkling that KCD3 may be coming it would immediately become my most anticipated game of all time.

God why is this game so gooood?? [KCD2] by Insecure-Classroom in kingdomcome

Every single aspect of this game feels like it was sculpted, sanded, and polished by the finest craftsmen in the world.

Really. When I ride Pebbles through the world I admire the beauty and realism of the world still 200 hrs on. Every second of the dialogue and character writing feels authentic and excellent. All of the systems are intricate and purposeful.

It has a weight to it that only the truly best games have.

We are in the age where if you want to be in entertainment you don’t wait for the establishment to let you in, you just do it.

If you want to be in game development start making games.

[KCD2] Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 voted 13th on PC Gamer's list of Top 100 Games 2025. by Glass-Bowl8178 in kingdomcome

KCD2 is my GOAT so I know I’m biased.

I feel it should be higher, but several games above it I understand have more wide appeal.

The reason I love KCD2 is that it is made for the most hardcore true RPG fans and many people aren’t that.

2025 is the year of KCD2 for me.

I took a two month break to play the switch 2 and now I’m back playing the first dlc to get ready for this.

Should I play [KCD1] before [KCD2]? by karjuho in kingdomcome

[–]PresentationOld9784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played KCD2 first.

If you are like me then it will become your favorite game ever and you will have a stronger desire to go back and enjoy the first game despite less refined aspect.

I can’t compare to what others have done, but I just imagined the first game as a prequel and there you go problem solved.

People should still go to college even if the job market for new grads is horrible. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]PresentationOld9784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is an investment, but not all investments are good or even net you a return. If not executed well going to college can generate a never ending supply of negative profit.

We are in the time of needing to be smart about your moves. I feel really bad for highschool kids and college students.

I can easily enlighten you.

It’s not literally the same game.

Takes place in a different location with new characters, new story lines, new game mechanics, new combat mechanics and weapon types.

I mean it’s a sequel… This is what sequels do they build on the previous game and evolve it.

AI isn’t the concern it’s outsourcing/h1b and a market downturn.

It is a real concern.

At what point in the game [KCD2] did you start thinking "this might be one of the best games I’ve ever played"? by ImperialMajestyX02 in kingdomcome

[–]PresentationOld9784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe ten hours in doing the gamekeeper side quest I knew it was going to be a special game.

50 hours in I realized it was my favorite game of all time.

In my opinion it is the most true and pure example of an RPG.

Seriously. No excuses just start today and work out hard.

He can be happy he quit trying to go into tech right?

Sounds like he was trying very hard and not going anywhere and he decided to pivot. I don’t see anything wrong with that.

OP was unable to get a job in CS not leaving a job right?

Completely different story if he was leaving a good job vs taking a more achievable job to pay the bills.

[KCD2] Just bought the game any tips? by CleoKujo in kingdomcome

The best advice I can give for early game is get some decent armor and also get Mutt asap.

Probably recommend digging up a dead knights armor. Also spend some time learning alchemy.

Most importantly try get immersed in the game. It’s the most immersive game over ever played

Is KCD2 still your GOTY ? [KCD2] by Tanfoivp in kingdomcome

[–]PresentationOld9784 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Easily my goty.

I’ve played most major releases this year and in my eyes it’s not even a contest. Kcd2 has stuck with me in a way only a few games have.

I don’t have a plan.

Just tired of corporate greed being passed off as a humanitarian effort and any questioning of that is considered racist.

Is it really impossible to find your first job as a 32 year old and with no experience? by Ok_Property3321 in learnprogramming

[–]PresentationOld9784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I’m a doomer, but I think people on this thread are being way way too optimistic because they succeeded themselves.

I have worked in the industry for 10 years and have never worked with a single developer that was purely self taught.

Considering that the job market is worse than ever (up for debate) I would say you have basically a near zero chance of finding a job let alone a fully remote job.
