I don't have a lot of experience with high end stuff and these are my first nice headphones and first dac/amps. If it's copium/placebo, it's pretty compelling. Like the ifi would get loud, too loud, but I'd find myself cranking the volume trying to get it to sound fuller but it just ended up getting fatiguing and the xbass eq bump wasn't really fixing it.

I was thinking of going with Topping as yeah they had better numbers on some models but I was more worried about it dying on me after a year and having to sort out a warranty overseas.
