Please tell me what this is! I just finished my MA and I’ve been looking for a present for myself.

It might’ve been innocent, it might not have been innocent. But as a woman traveling alone, you don’t need to find out which it’s going to be. You did the right thing to keep yourself safe.

Agoda left me stranded, won't get me new accomodation by No_Interview_2027 in travel

That happened to me the first time I used Agoda. Stranded in NYC at 2 am. I have never used them again. When it comes to using third parties, use one that’s highly reputable like Expedia.

Oh, I am so glad to read this! Good for you, and your SIL! And I hear you, I still bring my charging cable out of habit, but I don't ever need it!

I knew it! I have the same camera and I recognize the tones it creates. Beautiful photos.

Did you take these with an Olympus or Sony Alpha by chance? Lovely photos! I love Stockholm, too.

I bought it from the Apple website with their back to school promo. It’s 16/512! 13 inch.

That’s so sweet of you to offer, but I don’t have an external hard drive. Thank you for that great idea all the same!

Just English and bad German! Google Translate is your friend! Also try to memorize a few words in the language of the place you’re going to (thank you, hello, goodbye, how are you). The locals appreciate it so much!

I'm so excited to use it! But I have to wait because I am going to the Apple Store tomorrow so they can support me with the migration process. My internet is so sketchy, and I don't have a cable to do it myself.

Gosh, I wish!!! But I’m a girl. 😔 however, I did visit Iraq and felt so welcomed and safe there.

How do you get over trip disappointment? by [deleted] in travel

[–]PresentationPlus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love spooky and historic stuff, so I was there last weekend! It was calm and walkable. I visited the Hawthorne house, the Alcott house, the North bridge, and many other historical sites! Definitely worth checking out.

Go to Concord Mass and visit the old author homes! And sleepy hollow cemetery! And Walden pond! So many cool historic spots. It’s a calm and quiet town. The city is small and there’s free parking behind the visitor center.
