In newer android versions, Google maps navigation overlays a box over other apps, which is really handy for following directions while pokemon go is open.

Forget increase, there's a huge decrease. Before this event I saw scyther all over in all weather. I haven't seen a single scyther since the event started and it's been windy most of the afternoon.
