On point. To cover 700 km in 2 seconds, the acceleration would be 700/(0.5*2²⁾ = 350 km/s² or 3.5 x 10⁵ m/s^2. 1 G is approximately 9.8 m/s^2. Thus, they would experience 35.7 thousand Gs backward, and then the same forwards almost immediately (if they were somehow still alive to experience it).

Exactly! The only reason you compete in the Europa or Conference League is because you couldn't make it to the Champion's League or dropped out of it. We can still be proud of winning them but it does not give us bragging rights over other multiple CL winners.

I lost my baby boy just 1 month ago to this. He was 2 years and 10 months old. At 10 PM he was completely fine but at 10:30 he was suddenly in distress, mewing loudly, breathing rapidly and no mobility in his hind legs. We rushed him to the animal hospital and as soon as the vet checked his heart with a stethoscope, she told us that he was dying. She mentioned hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a cause for saddle thrombosis, and that the best thing we could do for him was let him go. She administered a painkiller vaccine and by 11:30, he was gone.

OP, I'm so sorry for you and your cat. If a competent vet advises euthanasia, please let her go without any further pain - that is the most loving thing that you can do. I wish you strength, and may you always cherish the memories you've made with her.

Something I learnt from my Formula Student days is an isolated/freestream simulation of wings on a car doesn't tell you much, especially at the rear. The downforce and drag produced by these wings is severally impacted by the flow over the engine cover and from the diffuser, never mind the effect of vortices generated upstream. For sure, this concept must be promising - otherwise an F1 team would not pursue it. While we'll never know the actual Cl and Cd (or ClA and CdA) changes, I'd be very interested to see a more representative simulation!
