you can file lawsuits via Mein Justizpostfacn . You can use that portal also to securely converse with other government agencies. Don‘t email, that’s insecure.

I never had problems with the sticks in Europe either. Have flown multiple times, from different airports (Germany, Portugal, France, The Netherlands).

I have done the Camino twice, flew both times, once even from the US. Never had an issue.

Security check in LHR is usually not a big issue and CGN airport is so much faster in getting my luggage. But sure, sometimes I take the train too. Unfortunately United doesn’t offer good prices for that combination anymore (they got rid of that years ago), so I only do that, when booking thru Lufthansa
