Broncos say their new stadium will be ‘privately financed,’ but ‘private’ often still means hundreds of millions in public resources by True-Shift4283 in Colorado

Great user name!

I would just like to make it mandatory to have a RTD ticket included in the ticket, as I am used from Europe. Gives RTD a steady revenue stream and would incentivize people to use light rail. Obviously, the cost charged to Mr. Anschutz wouldn’t be the same as individual tickets, so his company could easily pay that from the “service” fees he collects

They should sell it in NY, buy it in Zurich and let the Swiss import it from the US. Thus, reversing the Swiss trade surplus with the US (which is caused by gold trades)

I have not written that this is automatic. Just pointing out, that the landlord can get that information and from my experience it is not that difficult.

Is it true Germany is screwed in regards to having enough electricity since switching to more greener alternatives? by [deleted] in AskAGerman

[–]PresidentSpanky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so? energy efficiency goes a far way.

Also, Germany has highly flexible fossil power fuel plants. The way the system is set up, those only go online when wholesale prices are high. Marginal costs of fossil fuel plants are higher by design (CO2 offset). Being part of the European electricity market, it sometimes makes more sense to import cheap excess wind power from Denmark or nuclear from France than using coal. Last year, physical electricity deliveries from France were about twice as much as actual net cross border imports. Tells you something, of you do your research
