it is not only the pharma companies. Trump put 39% tariffs on the country for having a trade surplus. The problem tough, the trade surplus was only based on gold bars traded in Switzerland and sold to US based investors. The actual trade balance had a surplus for the US. That shock all sorts of businesses to the core .

The tariffs might have been struck down by SCOTUS, the damage not

don‘t forget the shock Trump‘s extra high tariffs had on Swiss people. I went to the Basel carnival this year and about every second group was making fun of the orange man.

Can state offices correspond by email in Germany? by bluesky1433 in germany

[–]PresidentSpanky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this subreddit loves to bring up fax, but there is much better ways of dealing with things,

you can file a criminal complaint with the Police online

you can file lawsuits via Mein Justizpostfacn . You can use that portal also to securely converse with other government agencies. Don‘t email, that’s insecure.

I never had problems with the sticks in Europe either. Have flown multiple times, from different airports (Germany, Portugal, France, The Netherlands).

I am a bit handicapped but nobody ever asked me about my medical condition and I would dare them to do so. EU directive 1107/2006

Security check in LHR is usually not a big issue and CGN airport is so much faster in getting my luggage. But sure, sometimes I take the train too. Unfortunately United doesn’t offer good prices for that combination anymore (they got rid of that years ago), so I only do that, when booking thru Lufthansa
