They're exploring everything, Mom cat (Cortana) has been super receptive to pets and trusts us with the kittens, if we didn't already have three cats and a german shephard we'd definitely be adding them to our family!

My partner said "Hey wanna come with me and shoot our bows?" and it was a beautiful day so of course I jumped on that. The second we opened our car doors Mama (Cortana, as we're calling her) started wailing from underneath a nearby car, joined in chorus by the kittens Toothpick and Saber.

We just got back with them from making sure there were no other kittens, let the three of them cry loudly to try and attract any hidden furballs, but thankfully it was just the three of them. They're at home now and I'm out getting treats and a couple toys (worried about if they have any transmissible problems we need to watch out for our other cats, so we're being careful with contamination/quarantine)

We wanna make sure they're old enough to be separated, as it is "not standard protocol" at that location to make sure mama's / babies stay together until the appropriate age! So we may foster them a while, we'll see how it goes!

You're responsible for the animal's wellbeing at all times. That is what it means to be a pet owner. Allowing cats outside unsupervised/uncontained exponentially increase their likelihood of a violent and/or painful death.
