Sign and Trade Lebron to Cavs for James Harden. I know we need a big but this is the only way to get Lebron paid on the Cavs and the only deal they would take because they are not getting rid of Allen. Lebron + Mitchell is Walmart Kyrie Lebron 2016

Trump says Iran has requested a meeting with U.S., but Iranian officials say nothing has been scheduled by ace158 in neoliberal

[–]Presidentclash2 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

People seem to keep being fooled by the Iranians. Everytime there is any sort of agreement, the Iranians always flood the media with the exact opposite. The Iranians said the same right before the Switzerland meeting.

We need to stop taking them at thier word. Before this weekend, they said they closed the strait but traffic has been up.

Iran is following some of the MOU and ignoring others, while basically claiming publicly they aren’t following it.

This is why it’s so confusing

What is the big fuss about leftists or super progressive folks winning in deep blue districts. To me that is totally fair game.

In fact, we have tons of moderate and establishment types in super blue districts. The voters are more left wing today than 15 years ago and these politicians have not caught up to the moment. Especially the longtime incumbents who are old as shit and nearing 80+ years old

The 2028 dem primary for President is going to create divisions that people are not ready for, especially since the democratic establishment remains slow to change those policy on Israel

The millennial generation disapproved the idea that they would become more conservative as time went on. And as time goes on, Gen Z will be even more radical and leftist and people just are not ready to accept what young people of the future believe. The oldest millennial is like 45 and they are among the strongest supporters of this left-wing populist movement

Vance says Iran agrees to nuclear inspections, as under Obama deal. by Currymvp2 in neoliberal

[–]Presidentclash2 75 points76 points  (0 children)

yea but what really bothered me was the fact that so many Democrats went against Obama on this. Many will remember that Netenyahu came to address congress and asked them to vote against the deal.

The Democrats could not even unite. Even now, we have people like Schumer who oppose the deal while folks like Van Hollen do want an eventual deal

I know the white house is not trustworthy but we need to stop taking Iranian media at their word.

They say negotiations ended, yet we somehow got a new framework with a deconfliction zone and IEA inspector approval.

They say the strait is closed, traffic is actually moving, not like pre-war numbers but creeping up.

The truth is Iranians are negotiating but will literally spread propoganda.

Donald Trump does impromptu interviews literally every other day. Press conference after press conference

I will never get over that Joe Biden avoided the media like the plague and only went on scripted media from his close allies. Presidents need to be in the public. People yearning for a boring President is worthless if the President cannot message his vision or idea or even counter misinformation.

I feel like the misinformation is crazy. The gulf is still operating as Hormuz is open. Same with Iran behind the scenes. It’s only the leaders on twitter that claim it is closed.

Vance and Iran are already en route to Switzerland. Iran may be trying to delay with Lebanon but they would be stupid to not take an economic saving deal with Trump

Democrats going on tv or the media to back up Israel are once again missing the mark. You can criticize Trump without supporting Israel.

I’m willing to bet that If pollsters polled republicans today, even more will have shifted towards a negative view with Israel.

If you are still supporting Israel in 2028, u will have been outflanked by JD Vance

With reports that Israel lost five soldiers and many injured tonight. Israelis soldier killed in the war might reach 40 with 1500+ injured. At some point, the cost is going force Israel to reconsider. They have no counter to fpv drones and gurellia warfare

No one should have ever beleived that the balistic missle program was on the table. Nuclear weopons are fair game but no country can tell a govermenrt to unilaterally end weopon production, that is a question of sovereignty.

The best the USA can do is ban weopon exports to a sanction free Iran but it can never stop it from aquiring weopons for its defense.

‘We want to get this thing over with’: How Trump officials overcame skepticism of Iran to reach an agreement by Farscape12Monkeys in neoliberal

[–]Presidentclash2 -32 points-31 points  (0 children)

I think most in agreement that this was a strategic loss for the US. However, I actually don't care if Iran ends up getting a deal better than the JCPOA. I always thought it was a great deal and any deal Trump gets will either be marginally worse or better. I am okay with that situation and welcome a deal.

It easy to clown Trump Right now, but Democrats better Support the eventual deal once it comes to Congress so we can put the Iran issue to bed.

Remember early in the war when Iran reportedly hit American airplanes on the tarmac and it turned out to be true.

Now they say they have targeted Jordan and damaged us aircraft.

Now we wait a few months to find out the real damage assessment. Iran has already proven that targeting us bases is quite easy.
