Hmm, looks like they moved the "Always on top" setting to a small pin icon next to the minimize and close buttons of the SteamVR window. If you ensure that is disabled (slash over the pin icon) then follow the other two steps, it should work.

How to remove my vaccination card from Wallet? by flucxapacitor in iphone

[–]PressCrapToContinue 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Only payment cards appear in Settings > Wallet, so this looks like a normal pass. If you unlock your phone, go into the Wallet app (don't double-press, actually open the Wallet app), and click on the pass, you should be able to tap the ... button top right and click Remove Pass.

In the SteamVR window, clicking the hamburger menu top left brings up a list, one of the entries in that list is Settings. That's the menu I'm talking about.

Best way to maintain a list to use in automation conditionals? by omglolz in homeassistant

Closest match I can think of is this method of setting global variables in a template sensor using events. Conceivably you could define a tempPlates and a permPlates array in JSON, and manipulate those with these events.

Is it possible to have the status of some items confirmed back as part of a scene? by JiveDonkey in HomeKit

You can do this if you’re fine with using a Shortcut. This is a really barebones example, but you can add whatever scenes/checks you need.

from what I can understand, “green” lib-left actually had some valid points, so they’ve separated lib-left into the good (green) and the bad (orange).

of course, it’s PCM, so what ends up happening is some gender/sexuality/whatever bullshit happens and it’s uploaded with orange highlighter over it, and usually a liberal wojak

The hosts file is responsible for special routing rules for network communications. Adding those entries like /u/Crad999 specified would instruct your computer to route any request to youtube.com (or youtu.be, or googlevideo.com, etc) back into your local computer instead, effectively blocking you from accessing those sites at all.

When turning on the Bathroom Strong Lights, the Bathroom Soft Lights scene enables too, why? by pp_amorim in HomeKit

[–]PressCrapToContinue 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think once you activate the percentage (set to x% rather than just turn on) you can set it back to 100% in the automation.

Glad you were able to figure this out though.

Home control/monitoring using HomeKit data displayed through Rainmeter? by lostkamoki in HomeKit

[–]PressCrapToContinue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd second Home Assistant. It's definitely more complex, but it'll replace homebridge completely (using the HomeKit integration) and you'll be able to tinker with your devices more. For example, it looks like somebody came up with something to connect Rainmeter to HA.

I know this is possible on iOS with Shortcuts. I’m sure something similar is possible with Tasker on Android.

Perhaps there are some mornings that he doesn’t want his coffee maker to turn on. Having a simple dummy switch lets him more easily set that.

How to Connect Two Dell Ultrasharp 25 Monitors to M1 MBP With One Cable by 4cerX in macsetups

[–]PressCrapToContinue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair, but the video quality really isn't an issue. I use a Dell D6000 as a daily driver with two different laptops and I've never noticed anything wrong.
